Can we not have Gally on the ice when Weber’s on? Looks like Weber looking for #11 at all times.

A very strong impressive performance last night from the boys. Such a joy and proudness watching the Habs this year and if we stay healthy all year, we are the team to beat in the North..,
not a good performance from Mete but first game back since 10 months or so, expecting a better performance from him tonight. Watching him in the post game press, his body language and answers steer me towards he’s on his way out.

Keep a eye on Price with his new colour combo set including his mask. Looks exactly like Roy. Love it!

The key to a successful year is not to have back to back losses.
hope I’m not stepping on anyone’s feet here with the game thread..
go Habs!

I think he is undervalued and will be a good cheap piece to add and he did show he can produce some offense in August, when given some PP time. I just bet he will have a long NHL career and be a much better player, than say a Yannck Weber who has played almost 500 games in NHL.
And that’s fair, so what’s the market for him? A Old 7th D or 4th round pick... for that like I said, I would rather keep him. Kulak has one more year and I wouldn’t mind seeing the same 6 (7 including Mete) next year, as I’m very pleased with the D so far this year. -
Mete was paired up with Romo this morning at practice, expect him to be in the lineup tonight. Maybe this is showcasing him for a trade in the near future? This guy can’t be worth much with a return I would personally keep him as our 7 D , we all know injuries are com....

For what it’s worth.. someone mentioned Anderson has been nurseling a minor groin theek all season and perhaps today got a bit worst and was shut down.
kk gets his head shoved up his ass and nothing from anyone.

Anderson done for rest of game, hopefully not serious

Crystal ball needs a tune up.
Suzuki 3 of 14 on faceoffs, still a work in progress; but, seems such a smart player doing so well...dont think anybody is too concerned.
Evans 55%, looks pretty solid so far and seems to be in Julien's good books.
still early with the overall face off percentage but with having 3 young centres and a forth in the taxi squad, would it not be a good idea from the organization to hire a face off expert part time to work with the kids? One that comes to mind Is Guy Carbonneau. I think he finished his career with a 60%.. just a thoughtlove Price new pads from last night. 👍

I guess I keep doing these as long as the Habs keep winning ...
Yep... you are the man right now.
Calgary is coming in with a bitter two game losing streak, going to be a close one.

Great fight by Ed 5/6 clean shots, Myers had fear in his eyes. He’s been know for cheap shots over the years and running away as a Coward from fighting
-
I think Perry will show his veteran experience tonight and not take stupid penalties but he will take one good run at Myers. Im looking forward to this
-
Is it physically possible for Suzuki to get better every game as we witness this.
-
Thoughts?
Lehk - Byron - Perry
I know Evans has been playing good and getting better. But we’re all heathy still and some more defensive experienced (Perry) might be what we need to finish these two road games Only, before heading back to Montreal for a Deservedly five days off. If we can steal 3 out of 4 points here, ideal!
Evans back in for Calgary
-
I agree with Price starting the season slow every dam year, that’s 2 out of 3 games now this year with 5 goal or more.. one big positive is he will get better to his usual elite level. Lots of miss calls on us yesterday, terrible reffing!

It gonna be an interesting game. On paper Vancouver has one of, if not the best d-core in the division.
not to sound like a homer, but I’m thinking the Habs with the best D core in the north and top 5 in the league... it’s going to be a very close game and calling it a overtime win for the good guys. -
Van has lost there last 3 games going into tonight’s match up. Probably a must win mode for them, so our boys need to be ready for the storm at the start of this one.
-
Anderson hurt?
-
Confirmed, Allen starting
-
I’m for Hoping for Allen tonight and Thursday.
So some of the starting numbers discussed before season start was Price 36/Allen 20, which puts Price at 64% of starting. If we break it up on this 6 game road trip and have Price 4/Allen 2, that puts it at 67% for Price. On pace with our ideal breakup of starting numbers of 64%.

During all of training camp CJ had nothing but praise and respect for Suzuki on being a future star and leader for this team. CJ will have his input with MB if indeed Suzuki is on the table.
-
I say we walk away and stay out of this nonsense. Wait till he becomes a free agent down the road whenever that is and pick him up for free.
