Yeah, he played amazing last night. Gretzky kind of messed up here but hindsight is 20/20. Manny Fernandez and Martin Biron should both be getting serious consideration for Team Canada. They've been Canada's 2 best goalies all year. Yet both of them failed to make an 81 player long list. The 81 player list was made before they started shining.

What is the defininition of leader and why can't an 18 year old be one. Crosby busts his ass every shift and in that respect is a leader by example, plus he's the teams leading scorer. A player his age has never been given a A before so hence the conterversy. I have no problem with people who oppose the idea but it's the way Cherry said it "When I heard about it I gagged". Cherry for whatever reason has had a vendetta against him since he scored the lacrosse style goal when he was in junior. :hlogo:

Well, I'm right, the responses are just what I expected. If anyone saw Cherry on Coachs corner last night I have one thing to say, it was disgusting. This guy obviously doesn't like Crosby, but for a so called expert on the game to say the things he did was sickening, even Ron McLean was put out by his comments and tried to defend Crosby but was basically told to shut up. Why this egotistcal maniac is still on TV is beyond me, he's a bigot and a blowhard. I guess if Crosby was from Kingston or Toronto he would be ok with the idiot.

Yep, Conklin looked shaky at times. Hello there Garth Murray. I'm still thinkin Théo should have stopped that Moreau shot. If Cristo gets the start on saturday: bonne chance mec. Theo had little chance on that shot, Moreau was allowed to walk into the circle and he wired a rocket high to the blocker side. It was a great shot, the kind that has to hit the goalie in order for him to stop it

This is your first post, so I'm going to hold back and go easy on you... but that might be the worst thing I've read today. You didn't watch the game, that's fine, me either. However....look at the stats, or find a general consenus about the game before posting, cause I didn't see a single true statement in that entire post, except how it's great that Souray is getting back to form. Therefore I award you no points, and may god have mercy on your soul. At what point will the rookies that will be here all season be getting more ice time? This game? This one game? and if that's what you mean, then I guess you meant all the rookies... but Perezhogin? The pieces are coming together? Funny...I could have sworn they've been falling apart. I like the positive spin he put on things, it was refreshing after reading all the doom and gloom that infests this board today. Being a + person I look at it as the glass being half full at this point

Bottom line, the coaches picked who they thought performed the best. Both goalies picked are 19 so it looks like experience likely factored into it also. When Price was taken in the draft it was because of his potential to develop not for how good he is now, the team doesn't need him now. I have complete faith in who Sutter and his staff have selected for this team. Price will get another chance next year if he earns it.

How can you expect to win a game with 5 shots over the last 40 minutes, it ain't gonna happen. We didn't loose because of the way Julian used his players we lost because we didn't generate any offense after the third goal. Zednik was invisible tonight as he has been for the last 3 games. Bulis gave Moreau too much room on the winning goal, I can't understand why he didn't pressure him, that was ridiculous. This loss was very discouraging.
