Keep Tokarski. Great back up for Carey. See no value in keeping Moen. Even as a depth player in case of injury. Would rather see young guy(s) chomping at the bit come up as injury fill in. Moen has looked incredibly slow. MT using him on the PK is questionable to say the least. Time to say "thanks for coming out" Travis.

"In today's game where you cant send a player down, long term security, no movement clauses, systems in place, players groomed to be students of the systems since before junior........the difference between a great coach and a mediocre coach is miniscule. Personality mostly. I do agree with Knuckles Nilan that its poppy cock that the habs were done after an emotional second round win over the Bruins. Nilan states that he thought Therrien was out coached badly in the semis by the Rangers coach. Not adapting or adjusting what so ever in game six when the Rangers quite obviously took away the stretch pass. Montreal just kept trying the same thing all night even though it was not working. Losing 1-0 while generating a grand total of two good scoring chances the entire game. Ouch. Loved the powerplay the entire five years Muller was in charge of it. Have not been impressed with it the last two seasons under Therrien and his staff. Capable is the word I would use in describing Therriens work in the last two seasons. Genius? Hardly.

,I think you were right about Price, Subban, Markov. This team goes as they go. Therrien a genius? Far from it. MB gives Subban long term deal, 72 million, and leadership A on his jersey. MT thinks same player should not kill penalties or play to protect leads late in games. But Cube and Murray can! lol Ironic that Subban may have saved the coaches job (in the big comeback against Sens last season). Word being that Therrien was done had they lost. Subban dominated and all but won the game for the habs in the last three and half minutes. The coach never mentioned PK after the game. However when the kid makes a bad play late in a game MT makes sure we all know it. Heard PK rave about Molson, MB, Serge Savard,Gerrard Gallant even Mike Babcock (upon signing the new deal)...stating how they have all helped him and his game. Very obvious that Therrien was not included (again) in the alternate captains praises. I was on the fence about MT when he was hired. I mean who else was available other than Roy? Was not impressed the first time he was with the habs in 03. Even less impressed with how he finished up in Pitt with the Pens. After watching the habs24 program last year and listening to Therrien??? I laughed out loud at the guy. Genius? Don must be kidding. If Therrien did not speak french he would not be working in the NHL. imo

Boulions' time as a Hab is up. Two assists in a pre season game (by the 40 year old vet) mean nothing when selecting the top seven D. Cube filled in nicely while the habs were developing the young D, that are now ready to squeeze him off the roster. "Time waits for no one"

Beauliue by a nose. Tinordi will be a huge asset to the club down the road, however like most huge men his best will come out later rather than sooner. (Chara) Nathan is ready now and will likely move up to number 4 spot before season ends. Would be great to add Pateryn in a season or two but he and is agent will likely want a trade as opposed to playing with the Dogs for another season or two. Pateryn could make several NHL clubs right now.
