  1. The Lake Erie Monsters (26-21-2-7) presently hold down the 8th and final playoff spot in the West and tonight, the Bulldogs (21-27-1-5) have a chance to cut into their points deficit as they try to make an improbable (and frankly unrealistic) attempt at a playoff spot. Hamilton trails Lake Erie by 13 points for that final playoff spot but have two games in hand. With Gabriel Dumont recalled, the leading point getter is Michael Blunden who has all of 20 points on the season. I think whoever starts (it should be Tokarski) will need to stand on his head for Hamilton to have a chance. Projected Hamilton Lines: Blunden - Tenute - Leblanc Bournival - Chaput - Holland Quailer - Fortier - Stortini Hagel - Leveille - Murovich Beaulieu - Pateryn St. Denis - Ellis Tinordi - Stejskal Tokarski Projected Lake Erie Lines: (based on +/- data from last game) van der Gulik - Sgarbossa - Thomas Carey - Malone - L. Walker Connolly - G. Walker - Agozzino McNeely - Reed - Gale Pock - Gaunce Beaupre - Lauridson Stollery - Maggio Aittokallio Puck drop is at 7:30 PM, Funny820 as always will have the play-by-play; click the banner below to listen.
  2. Fresh off inking a three year extension to their affiliation agreement, the Bulldogs (21-26-1-5) will look to get another winning streak going as they host Binghamton (31-17-1-4), affiliate of Ottawa. Several players missed last game with various injuries/ailments so I suspect the below lines won't be quite right until we find out who actually is playing. Binghamton gets a trio of regulars back tonight - former Bulldog Nathan Lawson, Mark Stone, and Corey Cowick. Projected Binghamton Lines: (based on +/- data from last game) Schneider - Da Costa - Prince Jessiman - Pageau - Stone Cowick - Caporusso - Hamilton Kramer - Cannone - Gazley Borowiecki - Wideman Eckford - Blood Claesson - Lebda Lawson Projected Hamilton Lines: Blunden - Dumont - Leblanc Bournival - Tenute - Holland Quailer - Chaput - Stortini Hagel - Leveille - Murovich Beaulieu - Pateryn Ellis - Corbin Tinordi - Stejskal Tokarski Puck drop is at 7:30 PM, Funny820 as always will have the play-by-play; click the banner below to listen.

  4. It's a battle of division basement dwellers tonight as the Bulldogs (20-26-1-5) host St. John's (23-29-1-2), a team that has really disappointed this season. In fact, with a regulation win, Hamilton would be one point behind the IceCaps for 28th in the league. After a good playoff run last season, I didn't see them falling back this much. Projected St. John's Lines: (based on +/- data from last game) Jaffray - Gagnon - Machacek Sawada - Mouillerat - Macenauer Klingberg - Cormier - Gregoire O'Dell - Maxwell - Lunden Ramsey - Chiarot O'Neill - Arsene Petiot - Sol Dekanich Projected Hamilton Lines: Bournival - Dumont - Blunden Quailer - Tenute - Holland Leblanc - Chaput - Stortini Hagel - Leveille - Murovich Beaulieu - Pateryn Ellis - DeSantis Tinordi - Stejskal Mayer Puck drop is at 7:30 PM, Funny820 as always will have the play-by-play; click the banner below to listen.

  7. The Bulldogs (20-25-1-5) look to get another win streak started this afternoon as they host the Admirals (24-21-3-3) - the Milwaukee ones, not Norfolk. Both teams have done well lately despite their low seeding in the standings, they have identical 6-4 records in their last 10 games. There is no word on whether Tenute/Stejskal (flu) are now ready to do or whether any of St. Denis, Fortier, and Avtsin are healthy. (Even if Avtsin is healthy, I doubt he'd play...) (based on last games' +/- data) Liambas - Mueller - Latta Winchester - Van Guilder - Beck Henderson - Watson - Puustinen McGrattan - Reid - Bang Ekholm - Moore Bartley - Jarvinen Bitetto - Valentine Smith Blunden - Tenute - HollandBournival - Dumont - Leblanc Quailer - Leveille - Stortini Hagel - Chaput - Lefebvre Beaulieu - Pateryn Tinordi - Stejskal Ellis - DeSantis Tokarski Puck drop is at 3:00 PM, Funny820 as always will have the play-by-play; click the banner below to listen.

  9. After having their season long 4 game winning streak snapped on Monday, the Bulldogs (19-25-1-5) will look to get back in the winning column by avenging their loss to Rochester as the host the Americans (27-19-2-1) once again, this time at the Bell Centre. The Amerks just changed their head coach as Ron Rolston was promoted to the Sabres when Lindy Ruff was let go. There is no word yet on whether St. Denis or Quailer are ready to return to the lineup. Projected Rochester Lines: (based on last games' +/- data) Rissmiller - Adam - Tarnasky Ellis - Varone - Mancari Girgensons - Schofield - Legault Roy - Sundher - Parker McNabb - Pysyk Biega - Pardy Crawford - MacKenzie Leggio Projected Hamilton Lines: Blunden - Tenute - Holland Bournival - Dumont - Leblanc Murovich - Chaput - Stortini Hagel - Leveille - Lefebvre Beaulieu - Pateryn Tinordi - Stejskal Ellis - DeSantis Tokarski Puck drop is at 7:30 PM, Funny820 as always will have the play-by-play; click the banner below to listen.

  12. The Bulldogs (19-24-1-5) will look to extend their season-long winning streak to 5 games as they host Rochester (26-18-2-1) in an Family Day matinee. For those who are still hoping that Hamilton has a shot at the playoffs, the Americans presently hold the 8th and final playoff spot (and Hamilton is 11 points back). 14. The Bulldogs (18-24-1-5) will look to extend their season long winning streak to 4 games (and will once again look to get out of the league cellar) as they host Houston (26-18-4-3), affiliate of the Wild. Peter Delmas has been called up to take Robert Mayer's spot as he has been called up to the Habs which means that Dustin Tokarski should make his Hamilton debut in this one. Projected Houston Lines: (based on previous +/- data) Zucker - Coyle - Larsson McIntyre - McMillan - Fontaine Veilleux - Dowell - Rau Kassian - Petersen - Grantham Scandella - Medvec Mara - Kampfer (yes, that Paul Mara) Bagnall - Genoway Hackett Projected Hamilton Lines: Blunden - Tenute - Dumont Murovich - Holland - Leblanc Leveille - Chaput - Avtsin Hagel - Fortier - Stortini Beaulieu - Pateryn Tinordi - Stejskal Ellis - DeSantis TokarskiPuck drop is at 7:00 PM, Funny820 as always will have the play-by-play, click the banner below to listen.

(It's the second year of that affiliation and it still doesn't seem right...) The Wolves are one of the hottest teams in the league right now having won 8 of their last 11.
