Favourite Habs

  1. It's Dog Day at the Dog Pound as the Bulldogs host the Griffins. Andreas Engqvist was quietly sent down after last night's Hab game and is expected to be available for this one. Active scoring leaders: Goals: Gustaf Nyquist (19) Assists: Gustaf Nyquist (35) Points: Gustaf Nyquist (54) PIMS: Garnet Exelby (152) +/-: Doug Janik (+18) Active scoring leaders: Goals: Andreas Engqvist (18) Assists: Frederic St-Denis (22) Points: Engqvist/Willsie (34) PIMS: Zack FitzGerald (188) +/-: Alex Henry (+4) Puck drop is at 5:00 PM EST and can be listened to by clicking this link: http://cham.player.amri.ca/
  2. 1-1 through 1. Engqvist has the PPG for Hamilton. Alex Henry isn't in the lineup for this one, I sincerely hope the Habs didn't get the bright idea to call him up as a forward. Lake Erie's goon was ejected in the period for boarding.
  3. Starting Line Up Pacioretty-Desharnais-Cole Bourque-Eller-Palushaj Geoffrion-Plekanec-White Staubitz-Gomez-Nokelainen Josh Gorges-Pk Subban Alexei Emelim- Raphael Diaz Tomas Kaberle-Yannick Weber Carey Price Malone - Stamkos - St. Louis Wyman - Pyatt - Connolly Angelidis - Hall - Segal Labrie - Smith - Wallace Brewer - Clark Gervais - Lee Commodore - Oberg Mathieu Garon
  4. The good news? The Bulldogs are up 1-0 in the 2nd on a goal from Engqvist. The bad news? Stafford was cheap shotted by Marcel Mueller (who got 5 and a game) and was carried off on a stretcher. Huge blow for Hamilton there.
  5. The Habs will look to celebrate Trade Deadline Eve with a win in Florida. Pacioretty-Desharnais-Cole Eller-Plekanec-Kostitsyn Bourque-Gomez-White Nokelainen-Leblanc Gorges-Subban Kaberle-Emelin Campoli-Diaz Weber Budaj Fleischmann-Weiss-Versteeg Bergenheim-Kopecky-Samuelsson Wolski-Matthias-Santorelli Barch-Smithson-Skille Campbell-Garrison Jovanovski-Gudbranson Weaver-Ellerby Clemmensen
  6. It's the final game for the Bulldog players to make a statement to management that they should be brought up if trades happen as they travel to Toronto to take on division leading () Toronto. Active scoring leaders: Goals: Andreas Engqvist (16) Assists: Frederic St-Denis (21) Points: Andreas Engqvist (31) PIMS: Zack FitzGerald (186) +/-: Ian Schultz (+6) Lines: Geoffrion-Engqvist-Nattinen DeSimone-Willsie-Schultz Lefebvre-Berger-Avtsin FitzGerald-Lampe-Slaney St-Denis-Stafford Henry-Callahan Mitera-Fast Lawson Active scoring leaders: Goals: Ryan Hamilton (21) Assists: Mike Zigomanis (34) Points: Mike Zigomanis (49) PIMS: Kelsey Wilson (79) +/-: Marcel Mueller (+11) Puck drop is at 5:00 PM EST and can be listened to by clicking this link: http://cham.player.amri.ca/
  7. Live from the Bell Centre (going up directly against the Habs because evidently the organization isn't smart enough to realize more people would go to the game if the Habs weren't playing at the same time), it's the triumphant return of David Aebischer to Montreal as his conference leading IceCaps take on the Bulldogs. Active scoring leaders: Goals: Jaffray/King (15) Assists: Paul Postma (26) Points: Machacek/Postma (37) PIMS: Garth Murray (94) (yes, that Garth Murray...) +/-: Arturs Kulda (+11) Active scoring leaders: Goals: Andreas Engqvist (16) Assists: Frederic St-Denis (20) Points: Andreas Engqvist (31) PIMS: Zack FitzGerald (184) +/-: Ian Schultz (+5) Lines: Geoffrion-Engqvist-Nattinen DeSimone-Willsie-Schultz Lefebvre-Berger-Avtsin FitzGerald-Lampe-Slaney/Haddad St-Denis-Stafford Henry-Callahan Mitera-Fast Lawson Puck drop is at 7:30 PM EST and can be listened to by clicking this link: http://cham.player.amri.ca/

  9. For the third time in less than three weeks, the Bulldogs travel to Grand Rapids to take on their division rival, the Griffins. Brian Willsie is expected to return from injury while it is unknown if Ty Conklin, demoted yesterday, will start for Grand Rapids. Active scoring leaders: Goals: Andreas Engqvist (16) Assists: Frederic St-Denis (19) Points: Engqvist/Willsie (30) PIMS: Zack FitzGerald (184) +/-: Ian Schultz (+6) Active scoring leaders: Goals: Jamie Johnson (18) Assists: Gustaf Nyquist (31) Points: Gustaf Nyquist (47) PIMS: Garnet Exelby (150) +/-: Doug Janik (+14) Puck drop is at 7:00 PM EST and can be listened to by clicking this link: http://cham.player.amri.ca/
  10. I'm actually remembering to post this in advance for once. The Bulldogs travel to Rochester to try and sweep their 3-in-3 weekend. Active scoring leaders: Goals: Andreas Engqvist (15) Assists: Frederic St. Denis (19) Points: Andreas Engqvist (29) PIMS: Zack Fitzgerald (182) +/-: Ian Schultz (+5) Active scoring leaders: Goals: Derek Whitmore (20) Assists: Phil Varone (24) Points: Phil Varone (32) PIMS: Joe Finley (85) +/-: Foligno/McNabb (+13) Puck drop is at 5:05 PM EST and can be listened to by clicking this link: http://cham.player.amri.ca/
  11. Another late GDT but sadly this one hasn't gotten off to as good of a start as Rockford leads 1-0. Geoffrion is in, as is Lampe (the third of the PTO guys). Slaney is scratched, no shocker there. As I wrote this, Nattinen scored to tie it at 1, that's 3 goals in 4 periods for him...he had 2 the entire year prior to that. Geoffrion and Engqvist were pluses on the goal suggesting the line is Geoffrion-Engqvist-Nattinen.
  12. You would think that playing the top team in the league a day after signing 3 players to tryouts would be a bad thing for the Bulldogs. Shockingly, it's not as they're up 3-0 after 1. Nattinen has a pair of goals (and an assist) while Mitera has the other goal. Lenes and Haddad are in but Lampe isn't.
  13. <p align="center"> <p><br /> <table style="border-collapse: collapse;" align="center" border="0" bordercolor="#111111" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="500"> <tr> <td align="center"> <!-- enemy team jersey image here http://www.jerseydat...ts/1/9/1922.png --> </td> <td align="center"> <!-- http://www.jerseydat...onts/0/0/69.png HOME http://www.jerseydat...onts/0/0/70.png away --> </td> </table> <table style="border-collapse: collapse;" align="center" border="1" bordercolor="#111111" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="500"> <tr> <td align="center" bgcolor="#bb0000" style="color:#000000" colspan="2"><b><u>Projected Lines</u></b></td> </tr> <tr> <td align="center">Boston Bruins:</b></td> <td align="center">Montreal Canadiens:</b></td> </tr> <tr> <td align="center" width="50%" bgcolor="#eaeaea"> <table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0" style="border-collapse: collapse;" width="100%"> <tr> <td> <b>FORWARDS</b><br /> Marchand - Bergeron - Seguin <br /> Lucic - Krejci - Peverley <br /> Pouliot - Kelly - Caron <br /> Paille - Campbell - Thornton <br /> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> <b>DEFENCE</b><br /> Chara - Boychuk <br /> Seidenberg - Corvo <br /> Ference - McQuaid <br /> </td> </tr> <tr> <td> <b>GOALIES</b><br /> Thomas <br /> Rask </td> </tr> </table> </td> <td align="center" width="50%" bgcolor="#eaeaea" align="center"> <table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0" style="border-collapse: collapse;" width="100%"> <tr> <td> <b>FORWARDS</b><br /> Bourque - Plekanec - Darche <br /> Cole - Desharnais - Pacioretty <br /> Leblanc - Eller - Palushaj <br /> White - Gomez - Kosty<br /> </tr> <tr> <td> <b>DEFENCE</b><br /> Gorges - Subban <br /> Emelin - Kaberle <br /> Diaz - Gill <br /> </tr> <tr> <td> <b>GOALIES</b><br /> Price<br /> Budaj<br /> </tr> </table> </td> </tr> <tr> <td colspan="2" bgcolor="#bb0000" style="color:#000000" align="center"><u><b>Stat Leaders:</b></u></td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#eaeaea" valign="top"> <table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" style="border-collapse: collapse;" width="100%"> <tr> <td> <b>Goals:</b> Lucic, Seguin (20)<br /> <b>Assists: </b>Bergeron (31)<br /> <b>Points: </b> Bergeron (47) <br /> <b>+/-: </b>Seguin (+29) </td> </tr> </table> </td> <td bgcolor="#eaeaea" valign="top"> <table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" style="border-collapse: collapse;" width="100%"> <tr> <td> <b>Goals: </b>Pacioretty (23)<br /> <b>Assists: </b>Desharnais (30)<br /> <b>Points: </b>Pacioretty (43)<br /> <b>+/-: </b>Gorges (+15)<br /> </td> </tr> </table> </td> </tr> <tr> <td colspan="2" bgcolor="#bb0000" style="color:#000000" align="center"><u><b>Team Stats/Notes:</b></u></td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#eaeaea"> <table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" style="border-collapse: collapse;" width="100%" > <tr> <td> <b>Record: </b>34-18-2<br /> <b>Scratches:</b> <br /> <b>Injuries:</b>Horton <br /> </td> </tr> </table> </td> <td bgcolor="#eaeaea"> <table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" style="border-collapse: collapse;" width="100%"> <tr> <td> <b>Record: </b>23-25-9 </b><br /> <b>Scratches: </b> <br /> <b>Injuries: </b>Markov, Gionta, Moen<br /> </td> </tr> </table> </td> </tr> </table> <table style="border-collapse: collapse;" align="center" border="1" bordercolor="#111111" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="500" height="57"> <tr> <td bgcolor="#eaeaea" width="100%" height="19"> <b>Puck Drop:</b> 8:30 PM AST<br /> <b>TV: </b>RDSHD, TSNHD<br /> <b>Radio:</b> TSN990, FM 98,5 </td> </tr> </table> <br />
  14. Carolina: Ruutu-Staal-Tlusty Jokinen-Skinner-Samson Nodl-Sutter-Dwyer Stewart-Brent-Larose Gleason-Allen Harrison-Faulk Spacek-McBain Ward Montreal: Pacioretty-Desharnais-Cole Bourque-Eller-Leblanc Darche-Plekanec-Kostitsyn Gomez-Palushaj Gorges-Subban Kaberle-Emelin Gill-Diaz Campoli Price Moen has suffered a setback in his previous upper body injury and is out DTD...which as we all know means nothing. Weber and Nokelainen both skated but neither will play. White and Schultz both did not skate but are available to play. The lineup is just the same as last game, there is no official word on which, if either, callup will play. Puck drop is at 7:30 on RDS and TSN Habs.
  15. Montreal: Pacioretty-Desharnais-Cole Bourque-Eller-Leblanc Darche-Plekanec-Kostitsyn Gomez-Palushaj Gorges-Subban Kaberle-Emelin Gill-Diaz Campoli Price Toronto: Lupul-Bozak-Kessel McArthur-Grabovski-Kulemin* Lombardi-Connolly-Crabb Brown-Steckel-Armstrong Gunnarsson-Phaneuf Gardiner-Schenn Liles-Franson Reimer (Kulemin is questionable for personal reasons. I read yesterday that Darryl Boyce may play regardless of Kulemin's status so someone else may be out too.) Puck drop is at 7:00 on RDS and CBC. Note that the start will be delayed due to Mats Sundin's jersey honouring.
  16. It's a Habs-Leafs doubleheader of sorts as the Baby Habs travel to Toronto to take on the Baby Leafs in the 2nd game of their 3-in-3 stretch. Active scoring leaders: Goals: Andreas Engqvist (16) Assists: Garrett Stafford (18) Points: Andreas Engqvist (28) +/-: Alex Henry (+6) PIMS: Zack FitzGerald (163) Active scoring leaders: Goals: Ryan Hamilton (18) Assists: Mike Zigomanis (31) Points: Mike Zigomanis (44) +/-: Colborne/Paris (+10) PIMS: Kyle Neuber (109) Puck drop is at 3:00 PM EST and can be listened to by clicking this link: http://cham.player.amri.ca/
  17. Montreal: Pacioretty-Desharnais-Cole Bourque-Eller-Leblanc Darche-Plekanec-Moen Gomez-Kostitsyn Gorges-Subban Kaberle-Emelin Gill-Diaz Campoli Price (Palushaj is also available, this is just last game's lineup with Diaz (flu) now able to play, replacing Weber.) NY Islanders: Moulson-Tavares-Okposo Grabner-Nielsen-Parenteau Rakhshani-Bailey-Martin Wallace-Pandolfo-Niederreiter Streit-Staios MacDonald-Reese Eaton-Ness Nabokov Puck drop is at 7:00 on RDS.
  18. The playoff talk should be set aside for tonight. At this point, Hamilton simply needs to get out of the division cellar before the words Bulldogs and postseason get mentioned in the same sentence together. Active scoring leaders: Goals: Joe Whitney (12) Assists: Vladimir Zharkov (17) Points: Joe Whitney (26) PIMS: Darcy Zajac (65) +/-: Mike Sislo (+9) Active scoring leaders: Goals: Andreas Engqvist (15) Assists: Garrett Stafford (18) Points: Andreas Engqvist (27) PIMS: Zack FitzGerald (163) +/-: Alex Henry (+6) Puck drop is at 7:30 PM EST and can be listened to by clicking this link: http://cham.player.amri.ca/
  19. Pittsburgh: Kunitz-Malkin-Neal Cooke-Jeffrey-Dupuis Sullivan-O'Reilly-Kennedy Adams-Vitale-Park Orpik-Letang Martin-Michalek Niskanen-Engelland Fleury Montreal: Pacioretty-Desharnais-Cole Bourque-Plekanec-Kostitsyn Darche-Gomez-Eller Moen*-Leblanc Gorges-Subban Kaberle-Emelin Gill-Weber Campoli Price (Moen is a game time decision, no word on which D would sit if he does play so I'm using the same lineup as last game.) Puck drop is at 7:30 on RDS and TSN-Habs.
  20. Another quick one as I don't have the time to do a fancy one today... Winnipeg: Ladd-Little-Wheeler Fehr-Antropov-Wellwood Glass-Slater-Thorburn Miettinen-Burmistrov-Gagnon Enstrom-Byfuglien Hainsey-Bogosian Stuart-Oduya Pavelec Montreal: Pacioretty-Desharnais-Cole Bourque-Plekanec-Kostitsyn Darche-Gomez-Eller Leblanc-Palushaj Gorges-Subban Kaberle-Emelin Gill-Diaz Campoli Price Puck drop is at 2:00 on RDS and CBC.
  21. It's the second half of the back to back road series for the Bulldogs as they will be looking for a win to ensure they're not sitting dead last in the division at the end of the night. On the flip side, they could be 2 points out of 2nd with a win. Active scoring leaders: Goals: Andreas Engqvist (14) Assists: Garrett Stafford (18) Points: Engqvist/Willsie (26) PIMS: Zack FitzGerald (161) +/-: Andreas Engqvist (+6) Active scoring leaders: Goals: Jamie Johnson (16) Assists: Gustaf Nyquist (28) Points: Gustaf Nyquist (40) PIMS: Garnet Exelby (136) +/-: Doug Janik (+17) Puck drop is at 7:00 PM EST and can be listened to by clicking this link: http://cham.player.amri.ca/
  22. The Bulldogs begin a crucial back-to-back road series tonight as they're in Grand Rapids to take on the Griffins. Hamilton trails Detroit's farm squad by one point for third in the division. Active scoring leaders: Goals: Andreas Engqvist (13) Assists: Garrett Stafford (18) Points: Brian Willsie (25) PIMS: Zack FitzGerald (146) +/-: Andreas Engqvist (+7) Active scoring leaders: Goals: Jamie Johnson (16) Assists: Gustaf Nyquist (28) Points: Gustaf Nyquist (40) PIMS: Garnet Exelby (130) +/-: Doug Janik (+16) Puck drop is at 7:00 PM EST and can be listened to by clicking this link: http://cham.player.amri.ca/
  23. I know it's tough to get excited when losing but how on earth isn't there a GDT an hour before game time? Pacioretty-Desharnais-Cole Bourque-Plekanec-Gomez Darche-Eller-Blunden Kostitsyn-Leblanc-Weber Gorges-Subban Kaberle-Emelin Gill-Diaz Price Parise-Zubrus-Kovalchuk Clarkson-Elias-Sykora Ponikarovsky-Josefson-Bernier Boulton-Carter-Mills Volchenkov-Foster Greene-Larsson Salvador-Fayne Brodeur Puck drop is at 7:00 on RDS and TSN Habs.
  24. It doesn't appear that johnnyhasbeen is getting the GDT (guess he's got a winning feeling tonight) so I'll toss one together. Franzen-Datsyuk-Bertuzzi Filppula-Zetterberg-Hudler Miller-Helm-Cleary Emmerton-Abdelkader-Holmstrom Lidstrom*-White Kronwall-Stuart Ericsson-Kindl Howard Pacioretty-Desharnais-Cole Bourque-Plekanec-Gomez* Darche-Eller-Kostitsyn Engqvist-Blunden Gorges-Subban Kaberle-Emelin Gill-Diaz Weber Price * - player has the flu and is questionable. I'm guessing on the Hab lines as with Moen out, that will mess things up somewhat. Puck drop is at 7:30 on RDS, TSN (main network), and NBC SP (formerly known as Versus).
  25. It's a case of good news/bad news for the Bulldogs. The good news is that they're playing the worst team in their conference. The bad news is that despite that fact, Hamilton has lost 4 straight against the Monsters. The other good news is that since they played just earlier this week, I could just get away with copy/pasting the rest of the thread and barely had to make any changes, Active scoring leaders: Goals: Engqvist/Palushaj (13) Assists: Garrett Stafford (18) Points: Aaron Palushaj (28) PIMS: Zack FitzGerald (146) +/-: Andreas Engqvist (+8) Active scoring leaders: Goals: Hugh Jessiman (20) Assists: Tyson Barrie (22) Points: Tyson Barrie (27) PIMS: David Liffiton (81) +/-: Cameron Gaunce (+11) Puck drop is at 7:30 PM EST and can be listened to by clicking this link: http://cham.player.amri.ca/
