Another late GDT but sadly this one hasn't gotten off to as good of a start as Rockford leads 1-0. Geoffrion is in, as is Lampe (the third of the PTO guys). Slaney is scratched, no shocker there. As I wrote this, Nattinen scored to tie it at 1, that's 3 goals in 4 periods for him...he had 2 the entire year prior to that. Geoffrion and Engqvist were pluses on the goal suggesting the line is Geoffrion-Engqvist-Nattinen.

You would think that playing the top team in the league a day after signing 3 players to tryouts would be a bad thing for the Bulldogs. Shockingly, it's not as they're up 3-0 after 1. Nattinen has a pair of goals (and an assist) while Mitera has the other goal. Lenes and Haddad are in but Lampe isn't.
