Favourite Habs

  1. The joy in Caufield’s face as he celebrates with his new buddy is so genuine. This is another winnable game Go Habs Go Will update with rosters tomorrow.
  2. He is finally back. Can't wait to see where St. Louis plays him.
  3. Projected lineups; Caufield - Suzuk - Newhook Slafkovsky - Dvorak - Gallagher Roy - Dach - Anderson Heineman - Evans - Armia Hutson - Guhle Xhekaj - Savard Struble - Barron Primeau Doesn't appear Laine is returning for this game, but this is unofficial lineups. Puck drop is 4:15pm to accommodate ceremonies. https://x.com/CanadiensMTL/status/1863258448021909606
  4. Note 7:30 start LINEUP NEWS: Martin St-Louis turns to Cayden Primeau for the Canadiens’ second game in as many nights. Defenseman Mike Matheson, who was ruled out of Tuesday’s game ahead of the warmup period, is with the team in Columbus, but his status for tonight’s game is unknown at the time of publication.
  5. Habs have played significantly better the past few games. Marty’s fancy new hybrid system seems to be catching on. Can the Habs win 3 in a row? Will add roster stuff as it becomes available.
  6. Habs have played significantly better defensively the last few games but the Oilers are a big test. Hutson gonna be huge tonight
  7. Montembault in net Weber hall of fame ceremony so game will be a late starter.
  8. NOTE: 12:30 START I can't imagine that they will skate tomorrow, so:
  9. Montreal is not scheduled for a morning skate. Therefore, St-Louis and select players will address the media from the hotel pregame ... For the full official lineup, check back on the team’s social accounts closer to puck drop.
  10. 6-6 Flames vs 4-8 Habs Ahh, 1989 memories
  11. The Penguins do have an even worse start to the season than the Habs, so maybe there is some hope that our new #13 will win the game for the visiting team.
  12. Battle of the 4-4-1 logjam, projected Lineups. Caufield - Suzuki - Dach Armia - Newhook - Kapanen Anderson - Evans - Gallagher Pezzetta - Dvorak - Heineman Matheson - Mailloux Hutson - Savard Xhekaj - Struble Montembeault No updates as of yet if Slafkovsky will be ready for this game.
  13. Assuming the lineups will be the same. Caufield - Suzuki - Dach Newhook - Kapanen - Armia Anderson - Evans - Gallagher Heineman - Dvorak - Pezzetta Matheson - Mailloux Hutson - Savard Struble - Xhekaj Primeau The game against St. Louis had lots of positives to build off. Most importantly a couple of stale players getting on the scoresheet. Lets hope it's up from here.
  14. Projected lineups. Caufield - Suzuki - Dach Newhook - Kapanen - Armia Anderson - Evans - Gallagher Heineman - Dvorak - Pezzetta Matheson - Mailloux Hutson - Savard Struble - Xhekaj Montembeault
  15. Projected lines: Dach - Suzuki - Caufield Newhook - Kapanen - Armia Heineman - Dvorak - Gallagher Anderson - Evans - Pezzetta Matheson - Barron Hutson - Mailloux Struble - Savard Montembault
  16. 2-3-0 Hab vs 1-1-2 Islanders Will Hutson & Mailloux pair up, or be Matheson & Hutson? Hope Slafkovski has very minor injury and wont be out.
  17. It's not 1977 any more, but the Kings are still in town. Coming off a 6-2 loss to the Leafs last night, will they be tired or energized and looking for a win? Will Jonathan Quick Darcy Kuemper be back or will the Kings' backup goalies still be trying to keep the puck out of the net?
  18. Note the 7:30 start time ... ALSO ... per the Habs' schedule, the game is only available on Prime and RDS More to follow when available.
  19. If he is correct, the MixMaster26 seems to have mostly been an in-game experiment ... but Evans and Gallagher have earned a promotion, while simultaneously are being punished by having to play 2-on-3.
  20. These lines are from yesterday and I’ll update if there are changes. Sloppy game last night but there were some positive things. I am impressed with Barre-Boulet’s passing ability. He seems to be a very high level passer and he looked good on the PP and he set up Dvorak with beautiful opportunities. Unfortunately Dvorak had no idea what to do. Go Habs Go
