Habs 22-19 vs Stars 25-16 Tough match-up, but 4 losses in a row for Stars gives some hope. Habs penalties and PK not helping Habs record.

Are we witnessing an enormous step forward in the development of Slafkovsky? The point totals aren’t climbing much but he is driving the second line like a champ This guy deserves more ice time, including proper PP time. Imagine two or three seasons from now… 🎉 Bolduc is being charged with filling Slafkovsky’s enormous shoes and I think Suzuki and Caufield need to use Bolduc differently. What I’ve seen is a player that finds open ice easily and he has one of the quickest releases out there SUPER STAR nothing else needs to be said MERRY CHRISTMAS

Great win against Pittsburg and the changes to the lineup were welcome. Engstrom looks to me like he is an improvement over both Struble and Xhekaj. I hope St. Louis plays the same roster, perhaps subbing Xhekaj in for Struble We all know that Hutson is a beast but his numbers from one game paired with Dobson were the best of any player this season. Is Struble weighing Hutson down? Dobson sure looked good with Hutson. Top individual stat scores of the season: Another player that is proving his worth is Slafkovsky. Put him on the second line and that line greatly improves. Remove him from the top line and their production drops dramatically. I continue to say that Slafkovsky is way under appreciated I personally would like to see Fowler play again. He was outstanding and we need to see if that was a fluke. Not to mention that he should be rewarded for his play. Go Habs Go

Montreal has called up three players and I expect them all to play: Fowler, Engstrom, Beck Seems like an appropriate time to change up the lines a bit. Habs are getting little to no production from lines 3 and 4. These aren’t the lines that I want but it’s a guess at what Marty is going to do: Caufield - Suzuki - Slafkovsky Texier - Kapanen - Demidov Anderson - Evans - Bolduc Davidson - Beck - Gallagher We need change on the back end. I doubt Marty does this though: Engstrom - Hutson Matheson - Carrier Xhekaj - Dobson Pairings don’t really mean much anyway because St. Louis moves them around all game long - sometimes heavily influenced by special teams. In net is surely Fowler and it can’t come soon enough. I hope the kid kills it and takes the job full time. Fun fact that Price and Roy started their professional careers against Pittsburg… Demidov turned 20 years old this week so his career is almost over…I still question why Demidov isn’t on PP 1 even if Bolduc has pounded in a couple of nice goals. Demidov’s vision and passing are elite Habs are in desperate need of a really dominant game because it’s been a while since we have seen one. Heck it’s been a while since we have seen a dominant game by the Suzuki line. Injuries are part of the problem and I’m unsure if Laine can make a difference when he returns soon. Let's go boys

Last night’s game was a complete game for Montreal. Wasn’t a perfect game but Montreal was dominant in all three zones for much of the game. Montembault in net today because of another back to back. I have to wonder if Monty struggles today then perhaps Dobes gets a bigger share. Dobes has been mostly excellent apart from a rough patch. I don’t think these guys can be stopped and I expect the goals to continue. Team USA are you kidding me? Thinking of leaving this guy off your roster? Are you crazy?!

The Habs take on a pretty solid Vegas team in one of the 15 games presented for Thanksgiving. Don't tell my boss, but I'll spend the last 30 mins of my shift doing strictly nothing but to watch the game. 🤫 Mark Stone scored on his first game back since October 18th, let's hope he'll be quiet for this clash. (I wouldn't mind a couple points each for Eichel and Dorofeyev since I have both of them in my Fantasy lineup...) Let's hope for a nice 5-3 victory for the Habs !
