Easy Ryder
He is giving back with his performance but anything less than that would have been very disappointing. There is a lot of pressure on how the prospects of the habs are good, because the big clubs needs it bad, but how good are they really ? Offensively the players that lead the club actually are the veteran like Locke, Ferland, Manlow and Baynes. The NHL prospects are not producing much, Grabovski, Chipchura, Lapierre, Milroy and D'agostini. So a big thank you to Locke for this serie and may the group that i listed just before may join you to the scoresheet for the Dogs to win the Wolves. johnnyhasbeen
Just a note to all re: skating speed. Not all impact NHL forwards need to possess it. It is a great asset, but not a prerequisite.

The stars that don't have speed, 95% are bigger players with lots of muscle. Locke is tiny AND has no speed. A horrible combo.

Just like me playing rugby He'll be my new fav if he makes it. BTW, Lucky Luc mostly of the Kings was considered too slow to play in the NHL and look where he ended up. Just an example not a comparison. Locke has a lot of challenges to meet but to write him off at this point, without even giving him this years training camp to see what he can do, strikes me as premature.
