Seemed like he was a bit of a head case for the first half of his career, but it seemed like he got his head screwed on straight 4-5 years ago and has been a much better two-way defender. This team needed offence at the forward position and defence at the defence position. While we may have solidified the defence a little more, you have to consider the fact that Hamrlik was often the suspect of poor decisions in the defensive zone (just like Sheldon) and his size can be exposed in one-on-ones (just like Sheldon, think about Jason Blake going right around him!?!).
