Hopefully they get fully funded to accelerate this process as it would help so many people, and I would assume it would replace lazer surgury for people with poor eye sight as well. Doktor Kosmos Posted August 1, 2007 Share Posted August 1, 2007 My eyesight isn't so bad that I'm blind, but I've worn glasses since about 9th grade and I don't see too good without them. I don't mind wearing my glasses (on the contrary I like the way I look better with them on than without), but I fear that as I get older, my eye sight won't exactly get better. Every now and then you read in the paper about laser eye surgery, but I'd never be able to afford that.
