Mr. Nasty
It appears to me that Conboy Kishel Wyman etc were not necessarily cut. Looks like the US College is making things difficult. You will notice Pacioretty, McDonaugh and Fischer are not there either...that is just not right.
MAK
ah, well that explains it! its one of the very few times that my gf wins over hockey It appears to me that Conboy Kishel Wyman etc were not necessarily cut. Looks like the US College is making things difficult. You will notice Pacioretty, McDonaugh and Fischer are not there either...that is just not right. if they show up they lose eligibility to college. I don't know the exact rule, though. Fanpuck33
if they show up they lose eligibility to college. I don't know the exact rule, though. I'm not sure if they lose collegiate elgibility, but classes have started around the country, so it's difficult for players to take a week or two off of school. I believe Any student athlete who participates in a professional camp would loose the amateur status and could not play for an NCAA University team. JoeLassister
lol well, anyway it's not because you're on the front page of the Calendar that you might be invited to be part of the team this season...
JoeLassister
I'm glad people (staff and journalists) noticed that D'Agostini impressed so far (just like Tender last year was impressive before the big camp), cuz i claimed all summer long that i'd like to see him with the team. here's the lineup i wish for 2007-2008 Ryder - Drury/Gomez - D'Agostini Kovalev - Koivu - Lats Kost - Plex - Higgins Bégin - Lapierre - Johnson Markov - Komi Souray - Defensive UFA (let's say Hannan) Streit - Bouillon Huet-Halak with the cap increasing, i can see Dandenault out of here with Aebischer and Bonk. Good Luck D'Agostini !!! and Grabovski, and S. Kostitsyn, and good luck every youngers !

saskhab
NCAA players (or people planning on participating in a NCAA program in the future) can't go to a camp unless they pay their own way. This even includes major junior camps. I think they're allowed something like 7 hours paid or else they're considered "making money" and are professional and no longer amateur. It's very strict. And yes, school has started. So there's little incentive to go to a pro camp.
