Spider-Man NL
http://www.habsinsideout.com/2007/09/hamrl...ay_on_thursday/ Hamrlik won't play on Thursday due to injury Pat Hickey has provided the following update from Mont Tremblant: Defenceman Roman Hamrlik won't play Thursday night when the Canadiens face the Boston Bruins in preseason action at the Bell Centre. Hamrlik practised with the team Wednesday in Mont Tremblant, but stayed afterwards for treatment on an undisclosed injury that the team doesn't consider serious. Ryan O'Byrne will take Hamrlik's place in the llineup. Coach Guy Carbonneau might make some other changes to the lineup, but wasn't sure – or wasn't saying – what they might be. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In other news, the Canadiens have added another specialist to the club: former Canadien Ryan Walter will join the staff as a leadership coach. Walter has his own business as a leadership coach and motivational speaker. You can learn more about him at ryanwalter.com
MMPL
What about Brisboise?
tokyohabs
Thanks for the thread! Apparently big chance for O'Byrne. It would be interesting to see what happens if he and Grabovski do really well. Grabovski could really skew the forward lineups. I feel that Price is bound for Hamilton, at least for the start of the season. At least the scum look like a real team again. Remember those shock-yellow shirts with the big bear head on them? However, to paraphrase Gertrude Stein, "The scum is the scum is the scum is the scum..." Go Habs!

ShortHanded
Just a question Spidey. Have you based the lineups on Practice, or have you read somewhere that Lapierre is definitely NOT in the lineup tomorrow night?
johnnyhasbeen
Didn't we chase Thomas last time he played us, late last season? Hope to see the same!! Go Habs Go!!!

jcc
RIS will carry the game tonight through its LNH SUR LE VIF. If you get RDS, you probably also have access to RIS.

Chris
That is actually a pretty good line, Lats Lapierre and Smoke. 2 faceoff guys, gritty, hard working, can put up some points and 2 are very good defensively. Begin Chipchura Kostopolous is a good 4th line.
InsaneHABSfan
Destroy the Teddy Bears! Habs real hated rival, not that pathetic Leaf team which should have a 67 on their jerseys instead of a Maple Leaf.

MAK

I decided on the former, which includes the RIS channel spawned from RDS. BTW: no blackouts whatsoever in either scenarios Starchoice has also added RDS at 2 bucks/month this year. Last year you had to switch over to the entire bilingual channel set to get it, which was a bit steep. Not sure if they offer the larger sports pac with RIS to English subscribers, probably. MAK
it's kinda odd that you guys are asking for RIS and RDS while I'm trying to avoid them as much as possible. I wish there were an english alternative but RDS has the monopoly...
