markierung
Now I didn't add Lecavalier because Tampa will likely finish in the bottom 3 in the league. Crosby won't win because of his injury, and there hasn't really been a standout goalie this year. I threw in Lidstrom just because he wins the Norris every year, is leading the league in plus/minus and never gets nominated for this award. My pick is Ovechkin. He might win the Richard, Art Ross and carry his team on his back into the playoffs. Nobody in the league accounts for a bigger percentage of his team's points. I would vote for him even if they end up in 9th. My second pick would be Alfie. Sens are 6-0 without him and he was 1st in league scoring b4 he got hurt. Iggy was my second pick, but his 10 game goal less drought might have cost him.
BTH
Ovechkin, he is the most dominant player in the league this year.
ch_nl
Ovechkin. He plays on a team that wouldn't be half as good as they are with him.
JMMR
Ovechkin. BUt if the Habs win the East Kovalev will be on the ballot or at least should be.
markierung
Ovechkin. BUt if the Habs win the East Kovalev will be on the ballot or at least should be. I don't think he will though. A point a game isn't enough for the league to recognize a forward as the MVP.
Habsfan84
I have to say that i dont like those possibilities, i think that a Dallas Star will win it or a player from San Hose.
Captain_Stealth
It's Ovechkin right now. Plain and simple.

JoeLassister
Ovy ! almost alone with Backstrom and Green, without any goalie help and they still got a decent record.

bombTHEice
Surely Ovechkin, though no PO's also means no Hart vor him. My vote then would be Alfie ... he's playing awesome hockey for many years, he'd deserve it.
sbhatt
Should be Ovechkin if he keeps up this level of play.

My vote then would be Alfie ... he's playing awesome hockey for many years, he'd deserve it. But Alfie has a great team that move focus from him. Spezza and Heatly are not far from nomination as well. In Washington rookie Nicklas "Bäckis" Bäckström is second in scoring. But the MVP and Norris seems obvious. The Calder and the Vezina is far more interesting.

Easy Ryder
Wow four goals tonight I really would enjoy Ovechkin and Crosby Malkin playing against each other in series. That would be the great. This and that would push the Canes out of the playoffs.

Fanpuck33
How can you not include Malkin on the list of choices? He's clearly a top choice. He put a team that lost supposedly its best player on his back and has led that very well.
jetsniper
Who the hell voted for Alfredsson? I agree Malkin should be considered but I still think Ovechkin is more deserving.
Captain_Stealth
Ovechkin wins this hands down. He's carrying that team with his dynamic style. The energy he brings to the Capitals is just astounding and it's that energy that is rubbing off on all of the players. No one comes close and I don't even need to explain further.
