Good Morning ladies!

I was out watching the game last night in a sports bar and the atmosphere in the place was awesome. This game was HUGE for our boys. When was the last time we won 2 games against the devils in ONE season? This is great for team confidence going into the west coast road trip! Not to mention that we are 1st in the east...who would have thought it possible??!!

AS far as the Olé song is concerned, i think we sing it to cheer our boys on. Whereas as the Na na na , goodbye song, is when the fans think the game is over!

If you look at the "1st place or bust thread" you will see a bunch of us thinking it was possible....Including you!!!!!!!

High five Habsfan! Hope we can hang-on and the boys kill out West.

Great win for the Habs last nite. Just wanted to throw my two-bits worth in.

Fantastic games by Price in the nets. Not only terrific tending but great work with the puck. His stickhandling is gonna be of great help now and in the future, especially as the D get more use to him. Loved the way he handled and iced the puck on the PK, calm and cool.

Very good game by Laps. Loved how he competed and work with puck in the Devils end in the last two minutes. Must have helped kill at least one minute when the Devils were trying to pull Brodeur and get the equalizer. Not only is he constantly a pest, but his grinding spadework is good mix with all the skilled youngsters the Habs have.

Love how Gorges is getting better and better each and every game. I know i was one of the few on this board who wanted him given a chance to play early in the season. If there was a choice rather have him in the Habs lineup than Rivet at this point in time. Great mobility and competes very hard when the play is physical in the corners. Won the battle along the boards in his own end countless times last nite.

S. Kosty getting better and better also. Looks like it's gonna turn out to be a great 7th round pick. Completes physically and has the skillset to play on the top two lines. Continually amazed by his great defensive presence. First forward back on many occasions. Not to sure if anybody has thought of the comparison that the Kosty bros have with the Sedins. I think that given time they have the skills to be as good, but with the upside of bringing the physical element to the game. That will help especially in the playoffs when things get tighter. I guess we'll see in about 3 to 4 years, but i'm guessing people will rather have the Kosty's than the Sedin sisters.

Lats hasn't been scoring lately, and many have been critical of his skating, but remember the kid is still 20. He has a reasonable 14 goals so far. He has contributed lotsa of physical play of late, even dropping the gloves. Let him grow and like mentioned by a few on the board, easily can be a minimum 25 goal a year forward. He is still learning the game. He has even gotten down to block some shots too. That's where credit has to be given to the coaches, and that is from their playing styles.

Streit keeps racking up the points. The jack of all trades has become a very valuable member of the Habs. From PP specialist, to checking forward, to penalty killer, to part-time d-man, he is constantly contributing while being very versatile.

Keep up the good work Habs.

That was a huge play by Lapierre. I thikn he killed off at least 45 seconds in the Devils zone with less than 2 minutes left in the game. Very impressive!

And the decision by Hamrlik to put the puck back into the corner rather than shoot from the point to kill some more time.

does anybody know where I could find a clip of Lapierre's board dance from the game? I'd love to watch it another 50 times.

I want to see it too ~ on this page alone it went from "30 seconds" to "45 seconds" to "at least one minute" so it must be like the Ice Capades by now ^_^ .

the whole keep away lasted about 50 seconds, IIRC. Lapierre made for about 35 secs of it. It was beautiful.

Ever play the game telephone in school when you were a kid?

Man that was fun.
