KoZed
No shot on the PP for the B's. I'd really like to know both teams' PK %. They've both been great.
KoZed
Markov-Komi Hamrlik-Gorges Not much of Streit-Brisebois in this 2nd period.
brobin
Sheesh.. Price just about gift wrapped one... They have to do those little chips by the Defense.. they can beat them everytime if they chip and blow by them.. they will also draw penalties... TheAussiePosse
We outshot them, that's a start. As long as we don't bother about matching lines, just work on getting the puck to the net, we might make it out alive.

KoZed
How do you know they're both benched? Because 8-79 and 44-26 have alternated for half the 2nd period?!

lazy26
According to this, they've both played in the second.... Yep, but roughly only half as many shifts as the other D. IMO, Breezer has looked weak and slow tonight. I question putting him in a back-to-back situation.
MFT77
1-1, in for a huge 3rd period. Streit and Breezer not benched just limited minutes. On the left side seeing mostly Markov and Hammy, with the odd shift for Streit. Gorges and Breezer kinda splitting some time with Hammy. Carbo and the coaches really good at working the defense to the best of their capabilities. Without lots of PP time, don't wanna use Streit too much, especially in a tie game. Cmon Habs, win it in the 3rd. Great work by the Kostopolo, Smokes, Begin line. Wish Dandy would use his speed more or win some battles, even though he's not who the Habs are counting on. Need a timely goal by maybe Ryder. Been overdue all year, would be a good time for one now.
KoZed
Streit's last shift: 12 2nd period 13:25 / 6:35 13:38 / 6:22 00:13 P Brisebois's last shift 14 2nd period 11:20 / 8:40 12:45 / 7:15 01:25 So for almost half the 2nd period Habs were rolling just 2 defense pairings. les_glorieux
Sucks that there is no chance for Bouillon to be back on Tuesday. I doubt they'd put O'Byrne in there. Can he be better than Breezer? Edited April 14, 2008 by les_glorieux

les_glorieux
Yeah you could take somebody out of the fourth line, put Streit up there, and insert O'Byrne. Streit hasn't played great either though.

Depends who you think the 4th line is! There's just one guy to get out the lineup that Streit could replace and it's Dandeneault. 3rd underway In the end these close games are good experience. brobin
You have to love the CBC.. they analyze every Habs goal looking for a reason it shouldn't count.. contstantly suggest the habs are getting away with stuff, and are practically rooting for Boston... sheesh
