I think all the problems are coming from the same root cause.. the habs are afraid to do the dirty work.. they peel off instead of finishing checks, they back off instead of pressuring in their own zone.. They can't win the battles for the puck unless they are willing to play with their bodies instead of little stick checks and pokes.. Even I think Boston had a better record than Montreal this year, if you ignore the Boston-Montreal games. Habs are great when they play with desperation.
