This team and organization has taken giant leaps this past season. We have quality players at each positon, most of that quality is young and will get better. We have a deep farm system. I'm tipping Price to start, Carbo is being a little too smug (someone mentioned a grin like a Cheshire Cat) for it to be Halak. Hopefully Ryder comes in, maybe he has a fire after being benched for 5 games. Tender, apart from the lucky assist, didn't play like he wanted it last game. And it was pointed out in the media that Carbo may see some of himself in Lapierre, and is favouring the kid, giving second and third chances to redeem himself, extra minutes, etc. Anyone else think/see this? We need to score the 1st goal tonight. If not, I don't like our chances! Price will get the start. Carbo would have to be an idiot to start Halak. When a team doesn't score aon a 2 minute 5 on 3 PP, they don't deserve to win. Hopefully the fvc.king PP will wake up tonight and score some early goals! I'd have sworn I saw him throw his leg up so he could clip Umberger. I was quite surprised on the replay to see him simply stick his butt out and barely clip Umberger. If we score first they will ahve to open up and pressure, they are not shooting because they play full defensive coverage after they take the lead. Shots aiming is the issue here, Kovy has to step up and shoot accurately since he is our best shooter. On a another level Smolinsi-Kosto and Bégin should be reunited.
