sakiqc
standings are funny in the "new NHL".. last year 80% of the league played for .500 or above Buffalo had 90 pts... good for 10th in the East! Boston had 94 pts for the 8th place Habs had 104, good for 1st. Intra-division games are so important. If I'm not mistaken, Habs won all 5 games against the Bruins last year. Give the 5 wins to the Bruins you end up with the Bruins at first place and Habs at 8th. Will we own the Bruins again this year? If we get 98 it will be great. Wamsley01
103 points, they will be better and finish with less points mainly due to not sweeping the Bruins and Flyers and having to play more games against the Western Conference. Question: Will we be marked out of ten and how will this affect our final grade in this course? Does this fall under the category of pop quiz, or is this actually more like a test? Does the method of prediction offer any change in our final grade - for instance, does the use of tea leaves at a level of difficulty 2.3 factor higher than using tarot, difficulty 1.9? Will the Russian judge be biased? I would prefer to offer my answer in the form of an equation; is this acceptable? Mtl (pts) = (2w+t)-(man games lost to injury/150)-K* where K = number of times Koivu is slagged in the French media *if K is = or > than 1/day then Mtl=0 and self-implosion **Note this equation only works if D=<15% (Duceppe is equal to or less than 15% popular vote) ***No nerds were injured in the construction of this equation; Oiler and Flame fans were marginalized, however
