JLP
Heading to my first Habs game in more than 10 yrs! Go Habs Go!!!
sbhatt
Glad to see Laraque in the line-up tonight...I sure hope he drops the gloves and does some damage. I can think of a few Bruins who earned a beating during the playoff series.
Habsfan
It's just a question of time until Dandy is shipped off somewhere else. IN the meantime, it might not be a bad thing to give Bégin the night off!
Chris
Yea, maybe Begin is hurt. Or GC is sending a message about stupid penalties. I am just looking forward to a fight where the Habs player actually lands a few and doesn't wind up on his back. Lats did throw a couple and fell on top of the guy so i'll call it a win. I would like to see a full 60 minute effort with no stupid penalties.
saskhab
Dandy might still be in as a precautionary measure on D. Breezy didn't play much in the 3rd against Philly, he might've been hurt a bit. Begin probably should be sat down every once in a while even when he's playing well, since he's so injury prone. With BGL on his wing, Mad Max should have a ton of freedom to do what he does best... irritate the Bruins.
MFT77
Just noticed that it looks like Laraque is pencilled into the lineup. Looking forward to seeing that, especially against the B's. Too bad Higgins wasn't in there as well.

MAK
I know he took stupid penalties but I have a hard time with sitting Bégin for that game. he's such a specialist at taking Chara out of his game. he really gets under his skin. lazy26
I can't wait to see Laraque pummel Lucic and/or Chara! For that reason alone, you dress Laraque over Begin, as we're either still showcasing Dandy, or like Saskhab said, he's there as insurance for Breezer. Begin is more effective with games off too. I hope we can strike early and reassert our regular season dominance over the Bs. I think they're an improved squad and Ryder will obviously have something to prove. We just need to make sure we stick to our game and don't get suckered into taking stupid penalties. GO HABS GO!!!!
Habsfan
I wouldn't be surprised if Laraque didn't drop the gloves tonight. He's coming back from an injury and probably won't wanna takes any chances of either injuring himself (somewhere else) or aggravating his groin injury! Father&Sonfans
I cant wait to see Laraque skate on the ice and lift the hand and showcase the fist heard round the NHL. I think tonight is gonna be one of the best, hardest fought games in the regular season. Montreal is gonna give it there best for there home opener and boston is gonna want to prove a point with Montreal. Truely will be a battle for 60 minutes ( 73 minutes if you count the time after the buzzer for fights to finish )
saskhab
Remember the insane game Greek Lightning had against the B's last year? He's another guy that might sit a few more games out this year with Laraque around, but he's been awesome against Beantown (including the playoffs). And tonight we learn if Ryder has any of that ex-habs magic that seems to have gone away in recent years.

Easy Ryder
The game against Philly and this one in perspective made Carbo take the decision to insert Laraque in the line up. - The attacks on Komisarek have to stop, yes he is a big man and capable to defend himself but not against 4th liners, agitators. - Bégin and Laraque will share the job as LW 4th line, better soon than later Boston have to learn that intimidation is on our side now. Go Georges Go
Father&Sonfans
I dont expect much violence really. I really dont think anyone from boston wants to deal with laraque, but if they did, will be some interesting fights tonight ( boston fans say that they expect Thorton to give BGL a woopin )

Father&Sonfans
I think of boston like Philly, only with less talent. Boston though will be even more goonage ( its only a word when describing the boston bruins )than philly but in the end, our offense will just walk all over them. What are they gonna do, use there shut down line against our offense? In the history of hockey ive never heard of a 4th line playing 54 minutes in one game! I expect two fights, Thornton vs BGL and Lucic Vs Komi Edited October 15, 2008 by Father&Sonfans
