BTH Posted October 20, 2008 Share Posted October 20, 2008 I agree. Gainey wont trade an alternate Captain and part of the core of the youth for Gaobirk. Not because Gaborik is not a great player but because he is a band aid and Minny could be poised for a run of their own this year as in my opinion they are one of the best if not the bet team in their division. Who knows whether it actually will happen but I guarantee that talks have been going on, meaning that at the very least, Gainey is willing to trade Higgins, and that all the rumours we've heard in the past involving Higgins may have been legitimate trade offers.
