Seb
The boys are rolling so far. PP is getting shots *toward* the net, and the passes are short and quick. They were told to keep things simple and you can tell.

brobin
so far, Gainey is rolling 4 lines. Take out the PP time, and it is even for all 4.

Quebecois
Nice period from Metro and Tanguay among others. Still a bit leaky in our own zone but we don't seem to be fumbling to get the puck out as much tonight.
KoZed
Honestly, I can't help but feel happy for Koivu who finally has linemates. I sooo want to reply something now... Gaaaaahhhh! sbhatt
Wow, is this Koivu, Tanguay Kostitsyn line dangerous or what? Looks like a very good line. Not crazy about sticking Plex and Kovy with D'Agostini though...would rather see Pacioretty there.
Habsfan
Great first period by the Habs! Where was all this energy when Carbo was behind the bench? One thing is certain, if the Habs don't play well in these final 16 games, alot of heads will roll in the off-season!
KoZed
Gainey's getting acquainted with the Habs' typical 2nd period.

Habsfan
Do the Habs have a shot on goal yet in the 2nd period?? So much for the Bob Gainey effect!

HABBER-oooooKNOWS
Pretty funny. On the Sportsnet tonight the guys had a picture of Carbo and his record. There comment was that it looks more like a coach you hire not fire. I wonder if this was a good move at the end of the day. This smells of a "coming back to haunt us" one day big time. Boston's been bad enough with Julien. I just hope it's not Toronto one day. In no way was this Gainey's decision. It kind of blows actually. If it wasn't for Gainey behind the bench I don't know if I'd feel good about it at all. Just like that.

Habsfan
Nothing has changed,,,this team is as lost as before. great 1st period, followed by a lousy 2nd. Still no shot on net in the 2nd. 12-0 shots in favor of the Oilers! Edited March 11, 2009 by Habsfan
