JoeLassister
Kostopoulos to Carolina. Good luck Tom. P.S. I dare you to drop against Moen, Tom...
sakiqc
Kostopoulos was a good player for the Habs. I wish he had sign for a western conf team though.

Tom will be making $700 000 next year, less than half of BGL's $1.5mil. Kind of makes you think.

BTH
well. Tom wins 0% of his fights though... Laraque stands up for 0% of his teammates though...
JacksonJ
well. Tom wins 0% of his fights though... He does play about 50 games a year more than BGL though, and if you aren't in the line-up you aren't winning fights. At least tommy is sort of multi-demensional. lazy26
I never would have thought that TK would get signed before Tangs. Best of luck, Tommy!
JoeLassister
Laraque stands up for 0% of his teammates though... I would not say so. He does play about 50 games a year more than BGL though, and if you aren't in the line-up you aren't winning fights. At least tommy is sort of multi-demensional. Well, I should have said that signing Moen makes Kosto useless. As for not being in the lineup, that's freaking true. I'm so pissed that Laraque has problems with his back. If we can have a healthy Laraque, combined with Moen-Latendresse-Lapierre, it would be so awesome.

dlbalr
Martin Biron signs a 1 year, $1.4 M deal with the Islanders. Didn't see that one coming. Just how bad is DiPietro's injury? http://www.nypost.com/seven/07222009/sport...alie_180741.htm Even worse, Brooks is already speculating that he'll be traded in the near future. I am totally amazed that he signed for 1.4 with the isles. Why wouldn't philly have kept him at that price? Who takes a 2million dollar cut to play in NYI? Who takes a 2million dollar cut to play in NYI? philly have already cap issues. at 1.5M Emery is the better deal. Biron is a 2nd goalie that thinks he's 1st goalie worthy. From an Islanders point of view I really dont get it...unless they want a goalie for their ahl team. but it's the Islanders...should we be surprised ?? Fanpuck33
Garth Snow WTF Seems like a smart move to me. Whether they say DiPietro will be ready or not, his health is by no means a given. Biron at 1.4 million for one year is a great insurance policy.
sakiqc
Flyers will be the idiot if Emery is a flop, especially paying more for Emery instead of keeping Biron
