lazy26
I was hoping Price might get another chance to redeem himself, but how can you not start Halak after last night's performance. A win tonight would be HUGE. Plenty of scoreboard watching too. GO HABS GO!!!!
The Chicoutimi Cucumber
I have a funny feeling they're going to win tonight, even though the pattern of the season suggests a loss. :hlogo:

PMAC
I've been flat on my back with excruiciating headaches for the last 26 hours. The agony seems to finally be lifting, because I can look at the computer without wanting to hurl. Anyway, the point is I want to celebrate my resurrection with a win. :hlogo:

Playing a final game with no pressure might meld the team together for the playoffs.

rafikz
BREAKING NEWS Montreal's Netminder Halak Arrested "On Friday, April 3rd 2010, Montreal Canadiens 24 year old netminder Jaroslav Halak was arrested in his hotel room in downtown Philadelphia. His teammates and Canadiens coaching staff were baffled by what they saw. Halak was handcuffed and escorted out of his room and into an armoured vehicle by two armed police officers. Their were several witnesses in this matter who came forward and also video evidence accusing Montreal's netminder of the theft of a Hockey game win and 2 precious points from the Philadelphia Flyers at the Wachovia Center. After 2 hours of interogations, the Flyers dropped all charges against Halak as they did not have the offense to solve him. Halak was escorted to the airport and, along with the rest of his team, is on his way back to Montreal. This is C.I.H. reporting in from Philadelphia." Easy Ryder
One prediction can be easily made. Cammelleri will join Gomez and Gionta real soon. If not tonight. Pouliot and Cammelleri are not prodcing something has to happpen offensively....NOW!! Defensively, keep 4 lines of forward and please keep Spacek out of line up. Bergeron stinks defensively but for the whole mission itself he is miles ahead of two faces Spacek. Go Jaro.

The Chicoutimi Cucumber
Imagine how bad they're feeling in Atlanta Hard to do, since they have zero fans. I suppose the stickboy and the zamboni driver feel kinda down about the standings, though...
brobin
Shame I was swinging in a hammock deep in the woods last night.. guess I missed a another great performance by Halak.. Maybe I will see one tonight. Good start, but it seems nothing kills our momentum like getting a power play.
brobin
Man.. that might be the worse shift I have seen from O'byrne this season.. and dumb penalty too..
Habsy
It just shows how important it is to play in Montreal, especially on a saturday night. We NEVER see a back-up goalie. Brodeur, Luongo, Fleury, Miller. You name the goalie, they always start against us. Not a complaint, just an observation. Local radio threw around the idea of seeing Lalime, I guess NOT. brobin
Finally.. and O'byrne gets one to make up for that horrible shift... hope that settles him down... Did I mention that Ryan Miller annoys me.. (damn good goalie)
KoZed
Well. it's 1-0. I expect the Habs will start trying to protect that lead for the rest of the game now... BTW, could someone explain to me why Martin keeps sending Gomez-Gionta-Pouliot on the 1st PP unit? They suck on the PP. Those guys might be nice athletes and they're good when in movement, but when it's time to "install" the play on the PP, slow things down and make the defensive box move to open a shooting lane for MAB, they utterly and desperately suck. Cammy-Plex-AK46 should be there. It's so obvious I cant for the life of me find any explanation why they're not on the 1st PP unit.
brobin
What a BS penalty.. since when has that been roughing.. that would be called every 5 minutes... To be honest, neither PP unit looks good. I don't think it matters until they start making better decisions and play harder to win some puck battles. Well. it's 1-0. I expect the Habs will start trying to protect that lead for the rest of the game now... BTW, could someone explain to me why Martin keeps sending Gomez-Gionta-Pouliot on the 1st PP unit? brobin
That was a better PP, at least we were in their zone... The best way to beat Miller is to have traffic in front and get the shot on... deflections are the way to go. ...
