It'll be interesting to see how the Mara-Sopel, aka the 'new guy,' duo fares in their first game together. I suspect that this very well could be the 3rd pairing heading towards the playoffs (assuming Spacek misses 6 weeks, he'd be skating just at the onset of the postseason). A little bit more size, defensive zone presence, and shot blocking. Weber's been off a bit lately, a game off may help him some.

I hope not. I want Weber to continue to gain experience. This may have to be a guy we rely on next year so it would be best to get him seasoned. I think that he would look really good playing alongside Sopel. Use Mara as our 7th D. If Hamilton wants, Picard could probably give them a hand done there.

Go Habs Go. While all games are important to win, the ones against teams close to them in the standings are far more important. It allows us to create separation. I expect the Habs to come out flying tonight. Also I have a feeling that Gomez will have a big game tonight. Don't know why I have this feeling but I just do.
