The habs cannot get suckered into the Bruins game, play with speed, play with skill, get the two pts, and if you see a Bruins player you can line up on a clean hit, do it! kenadian
Whichever Hab puts Recchi on his ARSE/and/or/STRETCHER tonight (with a legal hit of course) will be my fav hab for the rest of the week............
bar
This is what bugs me to no end, I am no medical expert, but a quick google search can show you what the definition of a severe concussion is: A severe concussion may involve prolonged loss of consciousness with a delayed return to normal. - Source Grade III: A severe concussion, when there is a loss of consciousness and no memory of the event. - Source In now way is the degree of a concussion a clear indicator to the outcome. Grade III concussions can have no long-lasting effects, whereas Grade I can have devestating effects. Is it too much to have fans do a little research before spouting off like experts? BrenDittero
Any word on Pleks or Halpurn? Tonight would be a good night to have a bit more offense in the lineup.
dlbalr
Any word on Pleks or Halpurn? Tonight would be a good night to have a bit more offense in the lineup. Both apparently have said they're good to go, will likely be game-time decisions. Same for Darche and possibly Sopel. And because clearly we've all been waiting all month for this, Laraque's take on tonight: http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/dregerreport/
brobin
PG has told the players to stick to the game plan, don't do anything to cause controversy, and show some class.. Shame the Bruins won't do the same.
Habsfan
I gotta say i'm not too confident about this game! UNless Plex, Halpern and Sopel play, I don't think we have much of a chance. All of our injuries are slowly starting to catch up to us!
Dalhabs
If something bad happens to our team tonight I want to see some goon signings this summer.
brobin
I would like to see the League come down hard on the Bruins, like they did on the Isles.. oh wait.. lol.. the Isles are to the Bruins as Cooke is to a superstar. Nothing will happen if the Bruins goon it up. If something bad happens to our team tonight I want to see some goon signings this summer. sakiqc
AK - Eller - CammyMoen - Gomez - Gionta Pouliot - Desharnais - White Dawes - Pyatt - Engqvist Wisniewski - Hamrlik Subban - Gill Mara - Picard Price Auld Wow, that's the team we have to go to war? I count 1-2-3-4-5-6-7 players that weren't in the lineup at the start of the year. I fear we'll have to play at 3 lines most of the night. On the plus side, this is an excellent occasion we have tonight to see at what level Desharnais can play, and if he has what it takes to be a good performer during the playoffs. I hope he succeeds! Good luck David!!

BrenDittero
I gotta say i'm not too confident about this game! UNless Plex, Halpern and Sopel play, I don't think we have much of a chance. All of our injuries are slowly starting to catch up to us! Like most games, the outcome will most likely rest on the shoulders of Carey Price. If the Habs can keep their feet moving for 60 mins and actually get some bodies infront of the net this time I like our chances. Hope they learned a few lessons from the Sabres. It'll be a great game, the Habs always light it up against Boston.
Chris
Scoring some goals would help. Getting shgutout gives Price no chance to win. They just need points to avoid the Flyers in the first round.

For some reason, we only like players who are shorter than 6 feet!?
dlbalr
Some decent pre-game reading from ESPN (after you read HW's preview of course): http://espn.go.com/blog/nhl/post/_/id/5911/daily-debate-which-teams-will-win-tonights-big-rival-showdowns

dlbalr
me to.. i like to add a player like Jared Boll and Steve MacIntyre MacIntyre would be easy to get considering he barely plays on the worst team in the league. At least Boll could take a semi-regular shift at least.
dlbalr
All of Halpern, Plekanec, Darche, and Sopel are in the warmup. Looks like the actual lineup news won't be coming literally until just before game time.
dlbalr
Reported lines: Moen - Gomez - Gionta Cammalleri - Plekanec - Halpern Pouliot - Desharnais - White Kostitsyn - Eller - Darche Hamrlik - Wisniewski Gill - Subban Mara - Sopel Picard out with a lower body injury. At least Boll could take a semi-regular shift at least. MacIntyre is 6'5 and 250 lbs and well be very cheap..we wouldnt need him every game..iam a big boll 6'3 210 fan so iam all over getting him. Sir_Boagalott
Does this game ever have me worried. Anybody thinking that the Booins will start diving head first into Habs players elbows? They'd be deliberate head shots, and the NHL would have to suspend any Habs doing so.
