Wamsley01
I am pulling a Mike Boone. I don't think they are going to win this game and will be delighted if they do.

saskhab
We do have healthy scratches: Pyatt, Weber. I think they'll win. I like this match-up, even on a back-to-back. I think the injuries/coming back from injury rust is gone. Working back four guys back into the lineup is quite tough.

Wamsley01
I can't say I am surprised to see them trailing 2-0 after one. They are going to make us sweat slightly before locking it up.

l.moustakas
Just want to point out that Benoit Brunet actually said "lentesse".... For those of you not fluent in French, I assure you, it's not a word.
Trizzak
*sigh* It would be nice to see the Habs win the games they need to instead of just the games they should. This team is so fragile right now.

This team is so fragile right now. They only play well when everybody writes them off. So they will probably lose to Jersey, everybody will be in full freakout mode and then they will beat Chicago. Their magic number is 5. Any combination of 5 points earned and points lost by Carolina puts them in the playoffs. So if they beat Jersey and Ottawa the Canes cannot lose a point for the rest of the season.

This team is so fragile right now. They are teetering on the verge disaster. If Buffalo wins tonight and 2 points is all that separate the Rangers, Sabres and Habs, it'll make for an intense last 4 games.
dlbalr
Well, some positives tonight, there at least is some aggression offensively while Plekanec and Cammalleri are showing signs of life. Defensively, it's another story, and Price, though decent at times, does not look like he's on his usual game. If it weren't for the late flurry in the 2nd, I may have been guessing that we'd have another Auld sighting for the 3rd.

If Buffalo wins tonight and 2 points is all that separate the Rangers, Sabres and Habs, it'll make for an intense last 4 games. They are no where near disaster yet, not even teetering. They will be 5 points up after tonight with 4 games to go. Even if Carolina goes 4-1 They will finish with 92 points. That means the Habs need 3 points from 4 games to reach 92 points, they have a 7 game lead in Regulation wins. A win tonight would have clinched a spot, but they don't seem to operate that way. I agree, but I can appreciate where doubt may crawl in a little - I'm not that worried yet myself but I know someone who was already becoming a little worried, I can only imagine what it'll be if this outcome stays the same. It's easy to say the Habs only need 3 points in 4 games, but if they're struggling, who's to say they only win 1 of 4? (I don't see this happening but it's not entirely unfathomable.) Fans want to make the playoffs with zero stress. The elephant in the room is that Hab fans fear having to play the Leafs with the season on the line, so they have reduced the number to 3 games to get the 5 points. So they have deducted that game because they don't want to sit through that game. If they choke and don't make it, so be it, they didn't deserve it. If every other team playing playoff style games for a month can play .700 and they can't manage .200 then I don't want to watch playoff games with this team. The Leafs are beating teams left right and center that they shouldn't be beating, so is Buffalo, Carolina and the Rangers. 3-5 points is not to much to ask.
