The two russian defencemen both have a chance as well though a bit of a longer one. Kostenko was cut from the Russian summer camp (one of the last cuts) and Sobolev wasn't invited but if either starts hot they could be in the conversation. Yes, I remember reading something about that now, likely it was a follow comment up after the draft from Commandant who is on top of this stuff. At least commitment/attitude is something that can be worked on with the right coaching and support and perhaps just a young guy deciding to get serious and growing up a bit.
