I dont have much faith in Struble ever becoming a top-4 Hab d-man (hope am dead wrong).

For some reason, didnt think Tuch had a promising NHL future neither, but know even less about him, so what do i know.

Tuch is also possible as he was at the US WJC camp.

The two russian defencemen both have a chance as well though a bit of a longer one.

Kostenko was cut from the Russian summer camp (one of the last cuts) and Sobolev wasn't invited but if either starts hot they could be in the conversation.

And of course I would say if Kidney or Roy absolutely tears up the QMJHL that they would have a shot.

If he continues, should at least be on the radar for Team Canada

Kidney as well Commandant suggested.

Both 2pts/gm, very very early on.

Roy is leading the Q in scoring. A nice start.

Could turn out to be the Habs best 5th round pick (150th) since Gallagher (147th)

Let's hope!! Makes you wonder why he lasted until the fifth round when almost everyone had him rated much higher?  Hopefully he turns out to be a steal.

Apparently he was out of shape last season and there were concerns about his commitment/attitude.

Yes, I remember reading something about that now, likely it was a follow comment up after the draft from Commandant who is on top of this stuff.  At least commitment/attitude is something that can be worked on with the right coaching and support and perhaps just a young guy deciding to get serious and growing up a bit.  Lack of skill is a tougher one to work on.
