Now, some people are suggesting that he should switch the forward but I think it's a bit early to be planning that.

Winger is the easiest position to play, i suppose.

I dont know how  'great' a defender he is, i thought he was good skater and has the smarts to maybe avoid getting run over by the Tom Wilson's of the NHL.

But my impression is that they are focused on bigger AND faster AND skilled ... by which I mean not just bigger for the sake of bigger.

Agree, not different than those before really, as far as this goes, "Bigger is Better".:spamafote:

Apparently he is now measured at 5'9" ... how much rounding up is going in here is anyone's guess. The kid has talent, no doubt.

I don't think hes the same player at forward.  One of his biggest assets is how he reads the play with everything in front of him.

Heineman with a goal in regulation and the deciding goal in the shootout.

Have you seen him in-person any games? How is he seen as a player in that league?

Sadly not. Have to focus all economy on electricity and gasoline this winter. Nothing left for sports on tv or tickets. Cant someone kill Putin soon and end this stupid war? 😖

Hutson is showing he can match up vs older NCAA folks.

How will he do at the world juniors, should be a good test for him.

Let's hope this can translate at nhl level. I know you're not supposed to get excited about prospects, but after he was drafted, I watched a bunch of video. I'm excited about this kid.

Ya, was waiting to see how he did in NCAA and seems is kicking ass.

I assume he will play next year as well in NCAA, so he is still a long time for him to work on strength/skating and from suiting up for the Habs.

Late spring 2024 with Laval or Habs seems reasonable guess?

Engstrom 1g

Kapanen 1a

Heineman/Nurmi 0pts
