Mailloux seems to be getting better and better.  He is definitely progressing.

I remember reading an article a couple months ago where a scout from another NHL team compared him to Brent Burns.

Maybe Jeff Petry?

Davidson 1g 2nd star of game 4-2 loss, up 3-2 in series.

Stylistically, yes.

But we really hope he has that kind of career.  Even with the deficiency, Burns has been a special talent.

Davidson will be offered contract this off-season and be playing in Laval next year with Kidney, Roy i assume he is good enough and shown enough in last 2 seasons.

If Tuch does well at the world championship "may" he turn pro? Or, just not good enough to be offered contract and his best option likely is to complete education?

Contract (must be signed before August 15, 2024) - Eligible to stay in NCAA for a 5th year due to

the covid-19 shortened 2020-21 season, rights would extend to 2025"

Fun to see that stuff, he seems to have 'OK' puck skills and confidence.

What numbers will he likely put up in NCAA next season? Similar to this year or bit better?

And will his lil brother top his production?

So ... Both Hutson (no surprise) and Tuch (there was some question) are returning to BU for another season.

I dont have much hope Tuch will ever make the NHL; but thought he might suit up in Laval and see how that goes this season.

Another year in NCAA wouldnt hurt though, i guess.:spamafote:

Seattle Thunderbirds at Winnipeg Ice 8:00 pm - WHL Final (best-of-7)

Jared Davidson -

The BIG RIG eh.

https://www.nhl.com/canadiens/news/qa-recap-adam-nicholas/c-344296002

"Nicholas on working with Juraj Slafkovsky:

What we're trying to teach him is how to play the 200 by 85-foot game, knowing when to and when not to. You saw moments where he was trying, at first, to possess the puck all the time and enter with possession and try to flash his skill. Well, that's not the NHL all the time. That's where watching highlights comes into effect. So, what we worked on him is just the game. Like, okay, this is when to chip it, this is when to put a puck into space and then go back and recover it. Those are the types of things that we really focused and want him to hone. So, the Big Rig [Slafkovsky], I feel, is heading in a very positive trajectory to where we need him to get to. This summer, for him, a big focus is going to be owning below the goal line, owning net front, and using those skills in those areas to produce."

Armia was player of game yeaterday...go figure.

Saw bit of USA, Hutson doing his thing and being shifty, think was bit tougher vs home town Finns than NCAA  though.

Armia vs Germany play in about 1/2 hour.

Beck vs Mailloux 7pm- London up 1-0 in series

Davidson vs Benson-Ice 7pm, Winnipeg up 1-0 in series
