DON
Guhle was all over the ice and managed 1a i think. He dished out some sweet hits and also got smoked several times and once sent face first into the boards ; on a hit from behind that would of been penalty if wasnt the 3rd period and playoffs...good old situational reffing. He had fun dealing with their 6'9" PP specialist who simply stood in front of goalie, doing an Avery without even trying. Would be very surprised it Guhle is still at 100% after that game. DON
PEI wins 7-0, down 3-1 in series now. 1st star: Trudeau played great 2g 6 shots. 2nd star: Simoneau 4a 2 shots, is one shifty little player. Xhekaj the Barbarian is on TSH today, if interested. DON
Guhle 0pts 4 shots in 3-2 loss. He had one sweet set up, for a big hit. Tantalizing how physical, Romanov, Guhle and possibly big knucklehead Xhekaj may be in a few years... Struble as well. Trudeau played very well in the Q-final, nice to see. Trudeau 1g in OT loss (14gms 7g 11pts) Simoneau 3rd star 0pts. (14gms 4g 21pts) OHL plays early game today. DON
Xhekaj looked OK, managed to take 1 stupid retaliation penalty at poor point in the game.. Mysak had couple terrible turnovers in own end, he may be playing hurt (i thought i heard?)? Sobolev played... Anyways, both series continue on TSN today. https://habsprospects.com/ Hamilton Bulldogs at Windsor Spitfires 7:00 pm - OHL Final (Hamilton leads series 3-2) - Watch on TSN4 Jan Mysak -Arber Xhekaj -Daniil Sobolev - Seattle Thunderbirds at Edmonton Oil Kings 9:30 pm - WHL Final (Edmonton leads series 3-2) - Watch on TSN1/4 Kaiden Guhle -
Meller93
What’s Mysak looking like He projects to be? bottom 6 with some offensive upside?

Yeah i think that's his ceiling. He's got some work to do to get there. I'm not that impressed with him or with Xhekaj, even with the Bulldogs doing well. They are both complimentary players on that team. Xhekaj as an overager isnt really dominating, so I think he's going to have an AHL enforcer ceiling. Mysak isn't dominating either as a 19 year old. He's been really inconsistent over the course of the year.

I agree bottom 6 would look like his ceiling right now. xhekaj would have to become a dominant physical presence AND improve his overall game to ever make the NHL I’d say. let’s go nhl draft 2022, time to restock
DON
Not expecting much from Mysak, same as vast majority of picks. But, hope as pick #48 he is a late bloomer and develops well at the AHL level. Xhekaj will be wait and see how he does in Laval, vs bigger stronger faster opponents.

alfredoh2009
#Habs Logan Mailloux arrived in Montreal yesterday to rehab his shoulder which underwent surgery earlier in April.
