Some of that may be because he's not back to full health yet ... or maybe he's just not good enough.

Most of it is cause he's a third round pick at 18 years old playing in a men's league..... Its normal development.

But it also shows the earlier comments of "I'm better than my father at the same age" were delusional.

19g+29a in 56 games.

Michkov's final numbers were 16g+20a, in 55 games.

Different teams, different lines, different TOI ... but outstanding numbers for Demidov in any case.

Matvei has transitioned to the NHL pretty pretty good.

Kapanen is my sleeper pick.

I think there is a chance that he eventually turns into a PPG player in the NHL too.

I can’t wait to watch him play next season. Watching highlights and YouTube snippets has me excited.

I would be surprised if he becomes a ppg in the NHL, but I have been saying the same since last season that Kapanen was my "dark horse" to win a roster spot. He has been developing well

If playing third-line minutes, 40 points would be excellent already. Could he turn out to be top-six capable? That would be a huge win, whether at centre or on the wing.

A point per game player in the NHL is such an exclusive category;   Kapenen ain’t there.

Agree, ppg is Suzuki territory, a little too much too expect BUT there is a lot to like with Kapanen. It was a smart move to send him back and let him develop. He can be a very valuable player.

We need to get Demidov over here ASAP. When does their season end?

Even if they don't make the playoffs I think KHL contracts run through May 31st ... and doubt they are likely to release him early.
