dlbalr Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Some players have highlight-reel first career goals at a particular level. Some don't. Andrew MacNiel's certainly falls into the latter category: 1 Quote
DON Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Thats must be why the drafted him, long range bombs. Sniper Protz had 1st goal of year on thurs. 2pts 5gms Another RH d-prospect, Pickford had 1g(5) 5 shots and 1/1 on faceoffs in a loss. Quintin MIller 1g 24shots 1st NCAA game 1-1 OT tie, Sam Harris 0pts. Quote
Dalhabs Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Filip Eriksson with another good game. 2g 1a in a 5-2 win. 20 years old in the SHL 14 points in 11 games. Quote
tomh009 Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Lots of promising prospects ... not all will work out, and most are years away yet, but this is the kind of prospect pipeline the Habs need (and need to maintain) in order to be a long-term Cup contender. There will be fewer high draft picks, but astute drafting later in the draft can still support a strong pipeline. Quote

dlbalr Posted October 16 Posted October 16 That coach is probably feeling vindicated by his choice. 'I benched him and motivated him to play guilty at the end and look what happens, two points. This strategy clearly works...' Quote

DON Posted October 25 Posted October 25 He has some pucks skills, goes to the net and would of been sweet goal in Thursday game. But still made some nice plays. Alexander Zharovsky Just Misses Highlight Reel Goal With Slick Slot Move - Highlights 10-23-25 Protz is on fire (relatively) 2a, four game point streak, 7pts 9games. Just 4 PIMs so far also, is good for a physical d-man. Quote

DON Posted October 25 Posted October 25 OHL. He was at world junior summer camp, but seems very long shot to make the squad with Hage. But, even in prospect scrimmages in Sept he was tossing his weight around. A Romanov-like d-man perhaps? Quote

With Florian, who seems to be learning to play the game of hockey, a bit better than his brother, and this mean bastard in the pipeline, maybe arber could be used in a trade at some point. Struble is a much better defenseman in my opinion. Quote
