dlbalr
Colin Sullivan has apparently left Boston College's hockey program. Despite being a sophomore, he went into their season with a lower spot on the depth chart than he had in his freshman campaign. Shawinigan has his junior rights but he'd be an overager, they probably wouldn't waste a spot on him. He could transfer to another NCAA program but I'm not sure other schools are lining up to get him - if he does transfer, he'll have to sit the season. He's still young enough to play in the USHL for one more year or I suppose the Habs could give him an ECHL contract if he can't catch on in college. Sebastian Collberg had a pair of assists today, his first two points of the SHL season.

Interesting to see Hay used Thrower in shootout yesterday, giving every chance to him to lead this rebuilding team. Sullivan must of been some scouts favourite for 7th round pick, but seems he is likely headed on Fischer's route to semi-pro eh? Archambault and Pribyl also late pick busts for that class, but if Dietz-Nygren pan out must still be considered an OK draft year (for picks Timmins had). Machine of Loving Grace
Even people in the Spitfires organization are confused on why Vail was passed over for any form of captaincy. It's a strange situation.

Sullivan never played in the USHL so I suppose he's a free agent in that league. Interesting nonetheless.

Dalhabs
Matt Lashoff is going to be teammate with De La Rose. http://www.dt.se/sport/lif/1.6364135-back-klar-for-leksand They also added Fabian Brunnström a couple of days ago.
dlbalr
It's Collberg vs de la Rose today. Collberg is on the 4th line (a puzzling reward following a multi-point game) while de la Rose is back on Leksand's 3rd line. 1-1 in the 2nd, both Hab prospects are pointless. Colin
I thought the guys in the system who were pointless were DD and Briere. This is getting confusing.

dlbalr
Speaking of the NCAA, here is a small rumour regarding defenceman Josiah Didier: In attendance Friday was Montreal Canadiens director of player development Patrice Brisebois, a former Avalanche defenseman, who was checking up on DU junior defenseman Josiah Didier. The Littleton product was drafted by the Canadiens in 2011and likely will join the long list of Pioneers to recently leave college early for a pro deal. http://www.denverpost.com/colleges/ci_24294649/jim-montgomery-university-denver-hockey Didier's style of play I think lends itself better towards the pro game so I wouldn't be too surprised if he did turn pro at the end of his college season. dlbalr
Gregoire's hot start continues as he sits tied for 9th in QMJHL scoring so far. He has 12 goals in 10 games so far. Hudon's season is a mix of good and bad. He's averaging over a point per game but he's a team worst -7 and there have been concerns about his effort level in the defensive zone. He also surprisingly leads his team in PIMS.

dlbalr
Wasn't he advertised as a defensive specialist? Not so much a defensive specialist but a smart two-way player. Hopefully it's just an early season slump at the defensive end.

DON
Gregoire 2 assists and #1 star, Hudon also 2 assists MacMillan 2 points and good to see he is 1st line player this year. Reway, Thrower and Crisp also get on scoresheet today.

dlbalr
More on what has become a rather confusing situation with Colin Sullivan. Although he has signed with Green Bay of the USHL, he won't play for them until January. Until then, he will remain at BC for his studies while playing in something called the US Premier Hockey League for the South Shore Kings. They have five different teams in that league (varying by age group), I don't know which one he's on.
habsprospects
"Kings add 2nd NHL drafted defenseman to their roster this year. Sullivan-BC/Montreal now, Boyle-Union/Ottawa September." https://twitter.com/SouthShoreKings/status/391636627644485632 Seeing that this Tim Boyle guy joined the higher division, I'd assume Sullivan will too. Also, that USPHL league, it's brand new, but other leagues merged with it, one of them is the EJHL, you probably seen that before, a couple of late rounders at the draft were getting picked from there.
