No, he won the Hart Trophy the same year as the Olympics and beat Tampa and Boston in the playoffs. Then he got hurt by Kreider and missed most of the Conference Final. He had a minor thing going into the Olympics, but he was fine in the tournament and came back healthy and still in MVP form. Overall that 2013-14 season was his best in the NHL. Considering the Olympics was February and the Kreider thing was May, wasn't much there. then the next season started 10 games without a regulation loss,.. then he steppe on puck and got the 2 month injury that lasted the entire season. Yes indeed. And that’s why I’m not presuming that the original diagnosis is wrong. We were all scarred by what happened to Price - including the constant dance of ‘he’ll be back soon, oh wait, no he won’t.’ I think most fan bases, told that Laine will be out for three months, would accept that as good news rather than presume it’s incorrect. Ok. Thanks. I seem to recall there were some writers questioning why Price was going to the Olympics if he missed some regular season games before the tournament. Forgot it was the same year as the Kreider cheap shot.

Everyone forgets how incredible that 2016 team looked before Price went down. They were contenders the previous two seasons - that might have been The Year. But it all depended on #31.
Prime Minister Koivu
Not ready to call this an injury yet but leaving the ice early a day after a therapy day likely means something is going on.

GHT120
And definitely won't play tomorrow If he isn't OK for Boston, I suppose they call up somebody so they have a 7th D in case of illness/warmup injury.
