This is an LTI loan which typically carries a maximum of 3 games and 6 days (but can be extended by two games with league approval). Harvey-Pinard probably plays tonight/Friday at home and then will be recalled/activated for Saturday against Vegas. Interesting I always thought it was a two week conditioning stint

They stay on the active 23-man roster while doing so. On an LTI loan, they're not on the active roster so it's a shorter window (in part to prevent shenanigans with roster management). For those, it's a fixed three games/six days but teams can petition to have two games added to that if it's clear the player legitimately needs more conditioning time since they're coming back from a longer-term injury. Habsfan
Like many have already mentioned, I'm not expecting much from Laine this season. Just like Dach, he's missed a shitload of games and will need a good 30-40 games just to get back in the rythm and find his scoring touch! I will be patient! But it is good news. I was afraid we wouldn't see him until after the holidays.

I would wait until Next Tuesday against NYIs ... home game will allow MSL et al to be a bit more selective in what match-ups he gets in his first game back. The Habs were able to do this with Harvey-Pinard, pushing back his activation date by a bit longer. He'll play those games Wednesday/Friday. TurdBurglar
Mentioned it in the Rangers game thread, but I'll put it here too. Arpon Basu said during the second intermission that St Louis indicated Laine could return for the Boston game on Sunday. When asked if Laine would return next week, St Louis responded with "Sunday is next week, isn't it?"(not a direct quote) This is by no means a guarantee. The Chicoutimi Cucumber
As long as it’s a minor thing. The idea of him going down with another major injury is just too depressing.

DON
Any update on Reinbacher's recovery? What is it, like 5-6 months before can strap on the skates again? Or light skating isnt quite that far off?

However, Andrei's cadaver failed on him and he than opted for patella tendon graph. Most procedures aren't reported on. 1) cadaver quickest recovery but most risky 2) Patella Graph medium recovery 3) semitendinosus graph longest recovery due to muscle atrophy of ham and quad but most successful long term

DON
Hope just sick and not injured. I recently had a good one and took over 4 weeks before lungs recovered and could do any exercise at all. But he is 1/2 my age and 'slightly' more fit, so hope he recovers much much quicker.

Friday to +Friday now for the flu, yet he's skated last two days? Not buying it... he is nursing something undisclosed is my guess
