I saw that stat on the jumbotron prior to the game against Dallas and was surprised by it. He’s also one of only 5 plus players on the team. Not necessarily a core piece per se but he brings a nice element to the team. It sucks that this freak accident happened. Hopefully he recovers well and is back sooner than anticipated. A lot of the good players who are minus this year are on the ice for empty letters. Something to consider. Not taking away from Heineman. I really like the way he plays. Just something I never considered.
Prime Minister Koivu
I have heard reference to Heineman’s physical size from a few different NHL Pundits. That’s a great thing 👍 Hope you ruined his car

Like everyone, just hope he recovers with no big set backs, is healthy enough to play a few AHL games this season and perhaps be one of the black aces with Habs if they are still playing in late May.

I’d rather we didn’t feed it into the “Habs are always injured” narrative, though. Heineman is a great player but not a core guy, and while this injury is a truly bizarre bit of bad luck, it’s not unusual for a team to lose a role player for a while. The main thing is that, Laine aside, all of our best players are currently on a nice run of good health. its not bad luck. its the habs medical staff and mgmts fault for not providing guidance on how to cross a street. besides why is mgmt allowing players to walj acrross the street in a dteMgw citubthey havent been to before???

Commandant
That info is good news but that is one of the worst written articles ive read in a long time. Just jamming words in there to reach the word count.

Commandant
His injury was upper body afaik. If it can be immobolized while he skates it shouldnt be a big issue. Keeping it braced and immobile seems the biggest issue.

The plan was always to bring him back in Laval in February or March. If he does well there he might earn a callup. But i wouldnt be surprised if he needs time to shake off the rust. Commandant
Of course he has to practice with Habs while rehabbing, only when he is cleared to play can be sent to the AHL.

I didnt write anything that was a critique of a post. When i do critique someone, im usually pretty clear. Any assumptions made about what Im saying when i dont write something is on the person making the assumption. I cant control what anyone is thinking or assuming, just what I write. If you are reading something that I didnt write, thats on you, don.
