Will it result in a win who knows.

Can anyone explain the Moan on 1st line slot?

I just dont get it?

Who thinks he is a top six player on this team, even with injuries?

I know Martin will be scrambling lines by the 10 minute mark, but i just cant see why he even thinks this is a smart play to begin with?

Moan can not keep up to Plekanec nor Cole can he? and he dosent hit nor fight anymore, so what value is he on a scoring line?

Here are my guesses as to why Moen's on that line:

- It worked well last game and Martin doesn't like to mess with success

- The Habs often use Plekanec as a shutdown guy, having a second defensive player would be helpful if that's how they plan to use the line tonight

- Keeping the balance of 3 'scoring' lines, take Kostitsyn off the 3rd line and a trio of Moen-Desharnais-Darche isn't likely to be any sort of threat

- Chemistry with Plekanec/Moen from time on the PK

I think those two reasons are why he is there for sure. (he also started fast last year didn't he? Getting some early goals and looked solid at the start of the season?)
