First thing I look at on a roster is D. And unless I'm missing something, the Avs D blows chunks. If that's right, then this is a good matchup for us, as we do best against teams with questionable defence. Couple that with this team's habit of bouncing back strong, and we good be in for an enjoyable night, provided we contain Duchene/Stastny.

Eller on the first line as a winger. Interesting. I'd much prefer his rangy strength down the middle and DD moved to the wing, but whatever.

héhé nice call.

I have a pretty good records with sloppy GDT as well. But I keep it for "ending losing streaks" occasions...

Going to watch the game with friends at Miss Villeray. A cool bar where you get buy a huge pint with a Habs player's number on it and if he scores, they fill your glass for free, no matter at what point you were.

I think I'll go with Eller tonight. I have a good feeling.

So do you just chug when your player scores then? :)

I'd be happy if Eller was playing Center.

It's all start with strong C and a good goalie and you don't mess it up.

Hopefully Desharnais will be converted in a winger ro we do not

have to plut Moen on top 9 f.

And i'll repeat even if Cole inly scored 2 goals out of 26 last year he had freakin Staal

and Skinner to score the goals while he was making room.

There are stats out there for goals when he was on the ice...... the canes scored nearly the same amount of goals in Coles 226 minutes off PP time as the Habs scored in Darche's 79 minutes of PP time last year. Give me a sec and i'll get you the exact number.

Power play performance over the past 4 years.

Desharnais

Points per 60 minutes 5 on 4: 5.33

Team Goals per 60 minutes 5 on 4: 8.38

Darche:

Points per 60 minutes 5 on 4: 5.33

Team Goals per 60 minutes 5 on 4: 10.63

Cole:

Points per 60 minutes 5 on 4: 2.65

Team Goals per 60 minutes 5 on 4: 5.73

So the games on CBC-M and they stick us with Cole doing the play-by-play :wall:

Hughson is the number 1 guy, and Cole is the number 2 on CBC.

Oh and despite calling Leaf games for a million years because that was his job... Cole is a habs fan.
