Colin
Tinordi with the fisticuff flamboyance. And now they tried to kill Parros.
brobin
And Parros is done.. Sigh
Colin
Well, who is knee deep in the empties? Typical first game for Montreal - typical early season. A few long-term injuries, another potential loss. Looking like the hockey gods are loving us as usual.
Meller93
OH GOD parros. Smashed his face a la Eller.. Kind of had a decent fight too. He's concussed bad.
Colin
We NEED fighting gone from the game. Time to grow up.
Dalhabs
OH GOD parros. Smashed his face a la Eller.. Kind of had a decent fight too. He's concussed bad. Briere going down soon and all our signings are out longterm.
brobin
Another disaster opening vs the leafs.
Habsy
It's getting strange, the amount of scary injuries on Bell Center ice. 4-2, game over. Makes me want to tone down the torch stuff.

No kidding. Habs play like shit every time they do a big ceremony.
Dalhabs
Cant understand why Gionta and Desharnais is on the ice all the time but the only line that actually produces anything hardly plays at all.
Dalhabs
Price handles the puck like a grenade.
Trizzak
Pucks on net would be great.
brobin
And with Parros out, Fraser start running around...
sbhatt
Cant understand why Gionta and Desharnais is on the ice all the time but the only line that actually produces anything hardly plays at all. They are both useless...it sickens me. How Therien can't see that they are bums that kill their respective lines is beyond me.
Dalhabs
And the leafs gets the pp? Shouldve been the ref faceplanting and not Parros. this, gnight all. Leksand tomorrow.
sbhatt
Lars Eller: your #1 centerman, Michel...get it through your goddamned head!!!
brobin
Well, beauty by Eller gives a bit of hope.
Colin
Price is really inconsistent tonight. Shame. Hopefully another few weeks working with the new coach and getting into a rhythm will put him in stride. I'm really unhappy with Diaz. He's garbage. Rather see Beaulieu learning in there. And Eller just scored. Are we witnessing the beginning of something special? That muscle he put on is making a difference...
Colin
I really enjoyed Bettman's Army allowing Phaneuf do do what he wanted late in the game. He was tackling guys, holding guys, punching guys. Great stuff!
sbhatt
Anyone else feel like we might have stole that one if the Eller line had been given more ice and been #1 PP unit tonight?!
brobin
Leafs hanging on.... Whistles away..... At least it wasn't a blowout, thanks to the kids. Great game by Eller... Time to trade DD.
Habsy
Leafs win last 4 home openers in Montreal. It's getting old. I'm done with the torches. Try something different.
Trizzak
Well, 30 more seconds and Montreal ties it. The Parros KO took the fans and team out of it for too long.
sbhatt
Time to trade DD. I'd love to see DD and Gionta gone. Leafs win last 4 home openers in Montreal. It's getting old. I'm done with the torches. Try something different. I'm all for scrapping the ceremony and the staff/player intros...just sing the anthem and drop the puck. Colin
I'm not sure Therrien is going to be able to regulate Galchenyuk's time as the season wears on. Early days, but he played really well.
