habs rule
First . Brian what do the stars beside Beaulieu and Bourque mean? I hope we come out fast again but keep it up for 60 mins instead of 30 mins.
dlbalr
Brian what do the stars beside Beaulieu and Bourque mean? Bourque was questionable last game with the flu and likely isn't 100% today either. If he can't go, Beaulieu will have to replace him in the lineup. I typically use the asterisks when a players' presence is uncertain; the potential replacement player gets one as well. Some pre-game reading, the victory keys: http://www.habsworld.net/article.php?id=3226
Psycing
Mike Fisher is a game time decision for the Predators: https://twitter.com/ArponBasu/status/391600749001449472

zumpano21
As always, 1st goal is key here as Nashville has very little to throw at our net. Best not give them a chance to lock the game down with an early lead (and put everyone to sleep.)
brobin
I will go out on a limb and say the keys to the game will be Price, subby, and the kids...
dlbalr
Last game the Habs had their struggles at the faceoff dot. That may continue tonight as Nashville sits 2nd in the league in faceoff percentage (56.2%). The Preds are also unbeaten when leading after 1 or leading after 2. DON
Habs continue to suck on faceoffs (18th) and PK (19th) Last 3 years Habs faceoff ranking was 17th-22nd-25th and looks to be off to typical year again. I know some seem to downplay importance of faceoffs, but sometimes it does cost game(s), to basically hand over puck on majority of PK faceoffs in own end. Habs are 33% on PK faceoffs, coincidence the PK sucks? #14 is worst @ 11-20 and although he is a super penalty killer, I simply wouldn't have him taking PK faceoffs.. donghabs98
Go Has Go! Hopefully we can put some pucks past Rinne who is playing much better as of late

The one thing we lack on the team is a true faceoff specialist. Faceoffs are one of those things that are really underrated it seems. The importance on winning faceoffs is huge since you don't need to try and win back puck procession
Trizzak
Galchenyuk seems to be fighting the puck a bit lately.

brobin
Every time I hear that PK might not make the Olympic team my blood boils. Norris winner. Leading Points for D. Solid D. PP quarterback. Grew up playing in Belleville on international surface. No brainier, unless it's the old guard with a bias!
Lovett's Magnatones
Once again, Subban gets called for everything! Every time I hear that PK might not make the Olympic team my blood boils. Norris winner. Leading Points for D. Solid D. PP quarterback. Grew up playing in Belleville on international surface. No brainier, unless it's the old guard with a bias! If they leave him off the roster and lose, there will be hell to pay.
brobin
Galchenyuk seems to be fighting the puck a bit lately. As they started putting the kids up against better lines they have cooled off a bit. It isn't easy playing against top lines. If the vets would pick up their play it would help immensely. One line teams get smothered.
Colin
Habs are stuck in first gear. They look terrible. Can't complete two passes in a row and are really struggling to put anything together. Was that Gorges with the wicked deflection?
