JoeLassister
Was supposed to finish at 16h30, but a transportation problem this morning made me come in late, so I get to stay an extra 15 minutes at work and will probably miss part of the 1st period. dlbalr
For anyone who thinks 5 PM is an odd start time, there's a game that starts in about 15 minutes (Philly-Winnipeg at 11:30 AM). For the Jets, that's a 10:30 AM local start time, ouch. There's lots of other afternoon games as well.
Machine of Loving Grace
Probably gonna miss the whole game due to Christmas shopping. Eh, Caps games are better watched in highlights.

I'm hoping for a classic road game. I'm looking past this game, like most of the players, to the Toronto game. I like our chances, on a back to back, after Toronto will spend 48 minutes in their own zone tonight.

Lupul and Bolland are out, Miller is still great in goal and Moulson broke his drought.
dlbalr
Lupul and Bolland are out, Miller is still great in goal and Moulson broke his drought. I still don't hold out much hope for Buffalo to pull it out. After a pair of embarrassment games, I have to think they'll be more focused for this one...though I hope to be wrong. There was speculation earlier today that Parros may have been playing in place of Bournival, that's not the case. (Tomorrow could be another story though...) Neech
I hope we don't overlook this game with the Leafs in mind. Washington will probably come out with a solid effort after last week's defeat.

I really thought Parros would play both nights. We all know he's in tomorrow and his gloves will be off. It's basically inevitable.

Why do you feel that way? Sucks for him to come in cold. He'll be a super-liability outside the fights. Or maybe he will get a gordon howe hat trick

dlbalr
That was a nice shotless streak (defensively) to end the period although the Habs will have some work to do if they want to match Pittsburgh's 25:05 from earlier this week. It looks like it's 15:40 at the moment.

dlbalr
Looking at the TOI, the lowest forward doesn't surprise me (Bournival) but the second lowest does (Gionta). It's not often we see him 11th in forward TOI in a period.
