hab29RETIRED
Time for some new ideas on the PP. Someone said earlier that Boucher only had 8 PP strategies. Well MT has 2. Markov to subban, or subban to Markov.
JMMR
Patches is injured again. Plex needs to finish at the net on his breakaways and try some moves. Habs can't finish. How did Chuck miss that? Why did DD pass?
JMMR
Habs dominating shots. Bolts dominating the circle. Chucky draws a penalty. Powerplay is stagnant. 2-1 Sens over the Bruins. Even up penalty. Horrible call.

How did Chuck miss that? Why did DD pass? Plek has zero hands. All he ever does is flip the puck in the air a bit and then shoot. Markov looks terrible. Lovett's Magnatones
Someone said earlier that Boucher only had 8 PP strategies. Well MT has 2. Markov to subban, or subban to Markov. Another ineffective pp, followed by a penalty from Bouillon. I'm happy he's in the game; it means I don't have to see him in person tomorrow. They need to get something going with their forwards on the pp

habs rule
And the question has been asked, will plex ever score on a break away?
hab29RETIRED
PK and Markov are being wasted with the wrong forwards on the "1st" wave. I don't understand why MT tends to put largely the regular lines on the PP. Gionta should NEVER be on the PP anymore. Top 6 for PP duty should be a mix of the following, Galchenyuk, MaxPac, Eller, Galleghar, Pleks, DD. And the question has been asked, will plex ever score on a break away? he will if he fans on a shot and it slides in unexpectedly

hab29RETIRED
Cherry is hotter than a pistol tonight! Yakupov again... yeah, a good old canadian kid like Fleury never hot dogged and slid down the ice after scoring right?
dlbalr
Considering the lengthy layoff and the struggles before the break, that wasn't a bad 1st period. The offence wasn't great but they did well to hold Tampa to 3 shots. That's a good road period.

Lovett's Magnatones
I'm starting to get off the "PK Must Be on Team Canada" bandwagon. I don't think his play in the last month has been very good. He should go as a 7/8 but he's really off his game lately.
