brobin Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Here's a question - how can Vanek have an injury? He showed no signs of it against Tampa. So unless he bruised a rib in, like, the first shift of Game One, when did it happen? Did he fall down the stairs at home or something? Anyway, it's moot right now. GO HABS GOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The alternative is he is soft, lazy... Doesn't care? Quote
habscout Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Thornton goes for the big hit on PK, who is off balance and half ducks/falls out of the way and Thornton injures himself on the play. Karma. Quote
DON Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Who the heck is that #17 that just finished his check on Iginla? Where did he come from? Quote
brobin Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Great back check by Bourque... What we need to see from Vanek and Pacs... Simply effort. Quote
habscout Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 And 15 shots in 2nd for Habs, good sign (even though had lots of PP time) Yeah considering the 2nd period has been their worst throughout the regular season. Quote
Toronthab Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Aw... he ducked when the psychopath tried to decapitate him. Quote
The Chicoutimi Cucumber Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Re: Vanek, the alternative is the flu. PK dodges a hit, what a dirty bastard. Boston is amazing at keeping the puck in the offensive zone at the blueline. That's a huge factor in their sustained pressure. Quote

GO HABS GOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'd like to think he caught a flu bug or something as was suggested. That has him getting better. Go Habs Go! Quote
