Fire Bergevin

I wouldn't change my mind, I gave Bergevin the 👍 up in the off season  thought he did a great job in filling the hole's on this team, and finally bring in talent. But from what I saw in the season and again in the playoffs, I truly believe we need to clean house and go in a different direction. This also means with Timmins and the scouting staff.

How's it possible with the last 2 GM's we have had the same type of problems happen  every year in the regular season and in playoffs. It just doesn't make sense to me.

It is definitely time for Timmins and some scouts to go. One impact player every 5 or 6 drafts, is not enough. Price, Mcdo, Pac, Subban, gallagher, maybe Sergachev, maybe caufield. That's 15 years of drafting.

Disagree , if MB is fired then Timmins would be my choice for GM outside of not being fluent in French. I think he understands it enough to get by

There was a time where I thought that. After 15 years of no accountability. I would welcome a different,  qualified approach

If they are steeping away from the fully bilingual requirement I am certain there would be far better choices than Timmons ... but "getting by" has basically been the standard for the Habs for many, many years ... make the playoffs sometimes and sell, sell, sell hope.

I totally agree with you, 2 different GM's over 20 years and both don't see what the problem is and cant fix it. We need a full house cleaning and a totally new vision for this franchise,  No hold overs . That's the only way i see things on the ice changing.

What do you think the new vision should be?

9 years ago they had 1 player who shows up in the playoffs, 9 years later, the still have 1 player who shows up in the playoffs.

Thanks Carey Price, your effort is appreciated

As I have long feared, we can say pretty conclusively that the Montreal Canadiens wasted the career of Carey Price. Same as they did to Koivu. Sad, really.

It should be done on Monday,

Get a completely new GM, staff, drafting team coaching staff to get ready for next year

I’d like to see thats. What scares me is Molson hiring McGuire or some idiot like that.

Whoever it is, it can;t be this bad,

literally no talent after 9 years

Be very careful what you wish for. I still remember Rejean Houle. And both Roy and McGuire will be mooted as serious candidates for the role. God help us.

Definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

There are plenty of qualified coaches, GM's and drafting staff members

I would bring in Brodeur. I think he would do a great job. He knows how to win.

Just because he was a great goalie you think he would be a successful GM?  Great players don't necessarily make good coaches or GM's.

Those two would not be good candidates. I think McGuire would be awful, I don't trust the judgement of anybody who doesn't think McDavid is the best player in the game.
