DON
Anyways, is Price progressing at all or still just no-gear skating for cameras?
habs rule
La Presse suggests that Price's injury is a Lateral Collateral Ligament (LCL) and while the Canadiens aren't optimistic about his outlook for the remainder of the regular season, they don't want to admit that publicly. The reason why Montreal is hesitant to suggest that Price's chances of return are all-but gone is for marketing reasons, according to La Presse. In response, Canadiens coach Michel Therrien said, "Carey is working out extremely hard in the gym. He's not doing that to maintain his beach body." An Lcl is pretty serious and difficult to rehab depending on the severity of the strain. It can be a lifetime injury without surgery. It the ligament that stabilizes the knee, quite often there are other ligaments injured at the same time. Let's hope to hell they get this right. IF what Lapresse says is true
DON
Thanks Dr. HR, don't sound good, even if might be just la Press BS speculation. Still haven't seen any pics of him in goalie gear, so at minimum he is still gone for awhile yet.
