dlbalr
After losing to them last weekend, the IceCaps (0-3-0) will look to exact some revenge this time around against Providence (1-2-0). They'll have to do so without the services of Michael McCarron who will serve the first game of his suspension for a head-butting incident against the Bruins on Sunday. Andrighetto - Terry - Friberg Hudon - Audette - Scherbak Matteau - de la Rose - Eisenschmid Farnham - MacMillan - Broll Barberio - Lernout Hanley - Johnston Samuelsson - Racine Lindgren DeBrusk - Czarnik - Mueller Szwarz - Bildh - Randell Hargrove - Cave - Simpson Rinaldo - Kuraly - Bakker Grant - Grzelcyk Bartkowski - Arnesson Cross - Casto Subban Puck drop is at 7:05 PM EST, AM 930 has the call. hupette gros
Why isn't Andrighetto in the lineup?

I'm guessing on some of the line combos with McCarron out and I actually forgot Andrighetto was down there.
JoeLassister
Why is Farnham anywhere but on the 4th line ?!?

Again, these are guesses with McCarron out but Farnham has been in the top nine for at least two of the games so far. My guess is they're trying him as a defensive checker to see if he can handle more than just a goon role. (They should let Gregoire do that but we all know Lefebvre isn't the greatest at putting lines together...)

dlbalr
Scherbak sent a pass out front that hit a Providence defenceman and bounced into the net, 1-0 IceCaps. That's one way to get your first of the year, bank it in off someone else.
dlbalr
End of 1, 1-0 St. John's. Shots are 17-7 for Providence; Lindgren has had a really good start from the sounds of things.

dlbalr
3-1 St. John's with seven minutes left in the 3rd. Shots are a lot (45) to not very many (17) in favour of the Baby Bruins. Welcome to the AHL, Lindgren. Hudon and Eisenschmid have the other goals for the IceCaps.
dlbalr
Andrighetto gets the empty netter and St. John's holds on for the 4-1 win. Lindgren made 50 saves in his AHL debut. http://theahl.com/game-summary?game_id=1015944
