dlbalr
Week two of this three week home stand begins with the IceCaps (10-9-1) hosting the Crunch (10-5-1) for a pair of games. Zach Redmond is back up with Montreal now so the defence corps that St. John's has now is really weak. (Based on +/- data from last game) Morin - Richard - Gourde Erne - Peca - Vermin Halmo - Bournival - Darcy Letourneau-Leblond - Ikonen - Hart Masin - Walcot Taormina - Thomas Blujus - Comrie Gudlevskis (Gabriel Dumont is also on Syracuse but he has been out with an undisclosed injury for the past week.) Andrighetto - McCarron - Scherbak Matteau - de la Rose - Friberg Farnham - Audette - Eisenschmid Broll - MacMillan - Gregoire Hanley - Lernout Samuelsson - Johnston Parisi - Didier Lindgren Puck drop is at 6:00 PM EST for both games, AM 930 has the call. Wednesday's game is also on RDS2 in tape delay beginning at 7 PM EST.
Guest Stogey24
I honestly haven't seen one game, or even opened his stats, but I've been reading good things bout Lindgren

dlbalr
Connor Crisp is back up with St. John's and should be available at least for Wednesday's game (they only announced the recall this afternoon).
dlbalr
Tonight's lines, which feature 7 d-men: Syracuse scores less than a minute in. This isn't the first time they've coughed up an early one recently.

dlbalr
It looks like they forgot to change the date but the opponent is correct. I'm listening to the game and Veilleux is in, making his St. John's debut.
dlbalr
2-0 Crunch now. Another poor start to a game from St. John's.
DON
Well, going downhill quickly, Lernout falls down and now 2-
dlbalr
Brouillette gets one back, now 2-1.
dlbalr
Lindgren got bumped on a Syracuse goal but the refs rule that an IceCap pushed him in so the goal stands, now 3-1 with about 4 minutes left.
DON
3-1 end of 1st.
dlbalr
4-2 in the 3rd, Friberg has the other St. John's goal. Matteau will be facing a suspension for a match penalty from a spearing incident in the 2nd.
dlbalr
St. John's coughed up two more while Gregoire and Racine both got themselves effectively tossed in the 3rd, one for fighting (5+10) and one for a straight misconduct. 6-2 is the final. They're back at it tomorrow and they'll need a much better effort. No word on whether or not Farnham or Broll (both DTD) will be available. With their 78 PIMS, the IceCaps are now first in the league in PIMS; 6 of the 26 players with 35 PIMS or more league-wide are from St. John's players. http://theahl.com/game-summary?game_id=1016174

dlbalr
Matteau will be sitting this one out as he has been suspended for tonight's game thanks to a match penalty for spearing yesterday. Broll is expected to be back in the lineup and I wouldn't be surprised if Crisp is in as well.
DON
http://theahl.com/game-summary?game_id=1016180 Held them to 28shots and only 2g on Denis. Nicky gets 1g(9) 1a, Lil German (2nd star) gets 1g 1a and Andrighetto gets 2a. 6pt line for that line (Neither Scherbak nor Andrighetto one of 3 stars?) Audette gets into only fight, Audette & Andrighetto score in shootout.

DON
Sly said Audette is now 3 for 3 in shootout and had a sweet shot on his attempt. Scherbak's pass to Eisensmid with less than 1 second left was bit lucky but looked pretty slick.
dlbalr
I thought Crisp had a decent game but it looked like he was benched for nearly the entire second half. Scherbak was quiet although he scored (he was benched for the first period) while de la Rose had a solid game. McCarron was really quiet though. Defensively, they actually looked like they knew what defence was which is a step up from recent games.
