So..if a NY skater slips and slides half a mile and piles into a goalie removing him from the net for ten minutes and NY scores.. thats ok.

Yes. As long as the goalie is not in the crease, you can incidentally contact him into the corner of the rink.

Funny you said that...we were DAMN close to taking one...forget who it was now but they wisely slammed on the breaks and dove back for the bench.
