Glad to see Gallagher on 3rd line where he belongs....hope he's off the PP as well.  Hoping Max scores tonight, and that 47/27 click and can produce a goal or two as well.  If we can get 2 lines scoring, odds for a 'W' are good.

Im not sure I like McCarron in this line up any longer with Martinsen and Ott starting. Time to send him back to NFLD and bring Hudon up. With DD & Ghetto gone it's better for that vital balance that MB always preaches.

They will need to score more than the traditional one goal.

Hudon if called up needs top 6 minutes,

McCarron playing has nothing to do with Hudon, You want a big body on the 4th line

Who's Hudon?

Some kid in the minors who scored a sweet backhand breakaway OT winner yesterday, his 5th game winner...but; must not be quite ready yet I guess?

Im not an expert on Hudon or any propects really, but I do know there are a lot of guys that light it up in the AHL but are not point producers at the NHL level.

4 points in 6 NHL games for Hudon...and his last NHL game he was a standout, but then takes shot in foot (or collarbone or something like that) at next practice and out injured.

Not too sure what he has to do

Habs Oilers: Galchenyuk and McDavid each have 3G 5A last 7 GMs. Lucic 2G 2A last 5. Price last 5. 5-0-0, 0.99 GAA, 966 sv%

Cam Talbot (3-1-1, 1.67, .930 vs MTL) vs Carey Price (1-6-1, 3.75, .856 vs EDM)

He's not a centre, so that hope should be out the window.

Pleky tore up the AHL before becoming a solid two way centre for all his Habs years - apart from this year.

This is what I'm getting at.

There is nothing wrong with a Pleks-like career for Hudon... that would actually be very good for us... a two-way top six winger.

I just thought you were referring to the fact that he could be a two-way centre.  An idea that was popular when the Habs made the attempt to convert him to centre last season.  He hasn't played centre since like January 2016 though, he just isn't a centre, he's a left wing.

That said, he looks the most NHL ready of any of our forward prospects.

not me, Pleks is terrible and so is his contract.

If Hudon has a Plekanec like career, he would be a valuable piece for us for the next decade.

Yeah, he's fallen off a cliff this year, but don't tell me we wouldn't want a prospect to come up and have a very similar career to what he did.  That certainly isn't "terrible".

Seven 20+ goal seasons and two 70 point seasons... while being great defensively for about a decade...

I'd love if Hudon did that!
