Zuccarello to Dallas.

Poor Duthie.

Zuccarello suffered an arm injury that will keep him out of the lineup for at least a month but surgery appears to be likely.  Poor Dallas.

Buffalo acquires Brandon Montour for a first-round pick and Brandon Guhle.  Nice pickup for the Sabres as he'll be with them for a while.

Kinkaid traded to the Blue Jackets on the same day that we face his now former team, the Devils.  Hopefully we get to face their current backup now. Whether it be at the beginning of the game or even mid way through. :)

Schneider's starting for NJ with Blackwood (who beat the Habs earlier this month) on his way up to serve as the backup.

I love Shaw,

other than injuries and 3-4 week stretch under MT he has been very good for the habs.

A bit undisciplined, but when his head is screwed on, he is a good player for sure.

Chara throws a check to the head.

No supplemental discipline from.the NHL.

SHOCKING

He is an official Good Guy Who Plays the Right Way. Ergo he axiomatically never deserves discipline. Doesn’t matter what he does.

PK Subban - 23%

Laine - 9%

Yes - 60%

Yes - 99%

No - 1%

My noteworthy takeaways from that poll include:

*Price still being viewed as the best goalie in the world by his peers

*Habs fans have been knocked off their perch as the best, I can agree with that based on what we've seen so far from Vegas. But let's see how they are after a few losing seasons

*Subban is the most overrated player in the league

I was surprised to see that Montreal wasn’t a favorite city to visit on the road ...

Thanks for posting, illWill.  I wonder why Vancouver is the most fun road city in Canada.

Maybe because it is not boring concrete Toronto or on the cold windy prairies, stanley park is nice, are nice skihills and has good seafood, weed and icewine. :spamafote:
